Update:The seller contacted me shortly after I posted my original review. They gave me the option of having my item replaced or receiving a refund. Since I had already purchased a replacement collar I chose the refund. They were wonderful about following through and keeping me informed of my refund process. I would not hesitate to purchase from them again and had I not already purchased another collar, I would have asked for the replacement since I think I just got one with a bad locking mechanism.————————I just received my collar and leash. I ordered the set because the collar had a lock on it. My puppy’s current collar spontaneously comes undone and she almost got hit one time because the clasp became unattached. I was anxious to receive the collar and it arrived quickly. When I opened it the first thing I noticed was that the rubber “Beebiepet” was placed on the collar in such a way that I could not make it as small a size as possible. My dog is just a puppy and I got the collar intending to set it to the smallest size knowing she would be growing. I was able to remove the stitching on the rubber tag without too much fuss and adjust the collar to its smallest fitting. I clipped the collar on to my pup and locked it into position thinking it was pretty solidly shut. A little later I checked the collar and it was unlocked, (the clasp was still closed but the locking mechanism had opened). I took off the collar and upon inspection it became obvious that the lock will disengage with just a small amount of vibration rendering it useless once the dog has walked around a little bit. The collar and leash seem pretty solid and I appreciate the metal ring on the leash handle allowing for a poop bag dispenser to be attached. Unfortunately I will have to purchase another collar that works. I would return this one but can’t since I removed the tag. All in all, a disappointing purchase.

This set is worth the price. It's lightweight, reasonable quality, and very comfortable grip. It doesn't last too long but for the price I don't mind. I'm my third order and will keep ordering them.

This is perfect when transporting foster dogs! Plus they are well built & inexpensive, which is fantastic when dealing with multiple dogs needing collars & leashes. Great color selection!

The color fits well and the locking feature is unique. The leash is much softer and easier on my hands that the flat nylon ones.

This is a very nice collar and leash set. The collar is adjustable so it fits great. The leash is a little more heavy duty than we actually need. The handle of the leash is very padded and comfortable for the hand. The cord of the leash feels very strong but just a little bit heavy. Of course our dog doesn't like to walk when she has her harness on and we end up carrying her all the time, so the leash is just for her safety in case she should walk away when no one is looking. Lol I haven't tried the leash in the dark but it has a spiral of reflective thread woven into the cord so it would be an added safety feature at night. Now if we could just get her interested in going for a walk longer than to the car in the driveway.

Great collar but... it's advertised as a "quick release" collar and if you Google "quick release," you'll read about how that means the same thing as a "breakaway" collar --that it's going to release quickly/break away when the dog is being strangled by it so the dog doesn't suffocate. This collar doesn't do that... People don't realize: dogs and cats are strangled to death by their collars everyday (look it up) so you shouldn't leave them on when unattended and if they rough play, like mine, a breakaway collar is the best. I'd use this kind of collar for when we walk together and then I'd take it off when we get home.It's super soft and yet it's durable (unless it's chewed). It also lays flat, unlike many bulky collars, so it isn't bulky where the nylon folds into the clasp. A pretty red. Excellent price. Lightweight. SImple. Great collar.

I have used this collar on my dog for nearly a year. She spends a lot of time outside ‘sunbathing’. So far this collar has resisted all fading from the sun. No fraying. It hasn’t stretched like some collars that loosen when pulled. There are two collars in a pack which is wonderful albeit I don’t expect to use the second one for another year at least. These collars do tend to get dirty and even washing it doesn’t remove all the black marks and stains but overall it’s one of the best collars I’ve ever used. I highly recommend it.

It’s a pretty collar. It is light weight and sturdy. After a week of using the collar we could not get the collar to detach, so we ended up cutting it off.
