I appreciate the quality and cost of these clips. They hold and are easy to open and close around curly and thick hair, and I’m sure hair at any length. Stays in place. I received similar alligator complimentary clips when I purchased a $400 air dryer. Needless to say, there was no quality or value in the free clips. It was a hope and a prayer that each time you opened the competitor free clip to place it on the hair, that they wouldn’t break. I have had the Framar alligator clips since October 17, 2025 and none have broken even when dropped on the floor. These will be my go-to!

Love these! So cute and effective! I have thick curly hair and these are easy to place and seem sturdy. The teeth allow me to hold large twisted pieces as I section my hair as well as my child’s.

If you need reliable sectioning clips, these are a standout choice. Professional quality at an accessible price point. I have fine hair and these work amazing for sectioning without any snagging.

The hair clips are very good and the quality is also great, but they are a little stiff to open, which prevents them from becoming loose in the hair. However, the clip has a large and suitable opening, allowing it to be used with a large amount of hair. It's very good for both thick and thin strands of hair, and for fine, thick, long, and short hair. They came very well packaged and none were broken! I highly recommend them! I really liked them and use them a lot!

I have really slippery hair on top of it being quite thin and have tried every type of barrette. Nothing holds except some alligator clips, and even most of those will slip. These have a nice bend that conforms to the back of my head and are very light weight. I literally forget they are there! There are some color options which is also helpful. Making them appear a little more attractive than the rest. The adjustable part is perfect since without it they would slide out of my hair. And the point is that they don't. This clip stays in place all day holding my hair exactly as I looked when I left the house in the morning! The clip opens nice and wide making placement quick and easy. This means more to me than anyone not dealing with this issue could possible know. I would like a smaller size option to add to my collection. They really are a 5 star item. I gave them four because I wish they were prettier. It is probably not their fault since they are what they are, but I will remain forever jealous of the beautiful barrette options that I can never wear. I recommend these to anyone who is desparate to get their hair out of their face, off their neck or just held in an attractive way. Especially if they struggle to find a product which will accommodate their hair needs.

These clips hold a good amount of thick hair. I section my hair to dye the roots and old clips were starting to break. They have a wedge in the middle to adjust for hair thickness. A 10 pack is more than I need for a touch up job so I'll have some spares. The plastic will get stained from the dye so I didn't care what colors I got, won't be wearing these out of the house. So far, nice and sturdy and grip well.

These clips are sturdy and hold a lot of hair and the colors are so pretty.

These are so much better than the claw clips I've been using for 20 years! They can hold a lot or a little and stay put well when doing hair. Works on short and long hair. Just as good as the ones at the beauty store but a fraction of the price.

These are very easy to use when styling your hair, but my hair is very coarse and thick and this doesn’t always hold it up for long

The package was open. Maybe someone else return. Expensive per clip. They are not the clip for thick hair. Disappointed in performance. My dollar store plastic clips work better.
