Dr. Martens Unisex Adults' Jadon Boat Shoes, 5.5 UK

I have bought three pairs of Doctor Martens recently - cherry red (through my work), black and now green (through Amazon). They are so comfortable and come up brill with one of those instant shine buff things. The black ones after about 3 months a small area of the left sole started to come away (a pound stick of Wilkinsons super glue put that to right) I am a size 11 and they fit perfectly. I bought a 12 in the green though a little sloppy (and ten pounds cheaper than a size 11) they are pretty sound and look great, a thick sock should cure the problem. Look great with a pair of jeans or chinos. Maybe you feel a real rebel and show them with a pair of denim shorts which i have done! Only thing wrong is the standard laces which come with them, they are too short! I like to put the laces once around the top and tie up the front, the standard ones only reach halfway round and look odd without going around the back first. Personal preference I suppose. Overall a brilliant piece of footwear!

Love, love, love these boots! Been wearing Dr Marten's since I was 15 & I am now 47! Whilst the quality is not to the same standard as it once was (when made in the UK) the boots themselves are comfy and still fit ok. I am aware I shall have to be careful not to mark these being white (although white trainer cleaner might help if I do mark them), but the thickness of the leather will last a few years at least if I take care, so the price is justified. As for breaking them in...Moleskin by Scholl should do the trick until I am used to them, but I have not had a problem breaking in new DM's in the past few years so all should be well. These are my first pair of white DM'S and I kerp wondering what took me so long? Give them a try, at Amazon's price you have nothing to lose!

These are beautiful boots. They have been comfortable from day one. They are as beautiful as the boots that I remembered buying back in 1988. However as many reviewers have already pointed out they are thinner than the boots back then I do not expect them to last as long. So why five stars? Because I have an inflation calculator on my phone and in 1988 £69.99 which is what I paid for these was £170 equivalent back then. The classic more robust versions are available directly from Dr Martens around that price if you still interested. I think it was worth pointing that out. I am quite happy with these.

YES!! These are just like Doc Martens and actually have lasted longer than my real pair of Doc Martens. They are very comfortable and look just like Doc Martens. To be honest, I dont know if they are real ones or fake ones. I literally cannot tell. And so much cheaper than Doc Martens normally are! Very chuffed with this purchase. I bought the red ones, and they are beautiful. However paint has started to come off or dye im not sure what it is, but it came off after a little bit of rough cleaning, but they still look lovely as ever. P.S. If you're new to Doc Martens, they take a bit of wearing in before they are comfy. Get yourself some hiking socks too, they will prevent blisters.

I have owned these boots for about four months and have worn them regularly. I've nothing but good things to say about them, they look great, are comfortable. The soles are fine, the bottoms are fine. The laces are good quality and even came with a spare set, even though they were yellow, but it was a nice surprise. They are comfy out of the box, and just get more so each time you wear them. No rubbing/discomfort whatsoever. The material is very nice. I don't have anything bad to say about them really. Best footwear I have ever bought, and worth every penny.

i have worn these type of boots for over 40 years now with no problem i clean and polish and dubbin them i take real good care of these boots i have had both ankles fused recently and they give my feet and ankles the support they need i also have steel to capped boots still after 10 years plus and still wearing well i have only ever worn a hole in the first pair i had when i was 8 so i have had both boots from uk and abroad with no problems if you look after them they will last for years

Always wanted new DM"s so took the plunge at this price. I know these aren't the UK made versions and I did hear some horror stories about quality but I can honestly say these fit perfectly (for my size 10 feet) and the build quality is excellent. I've worn them many times and on long walks with the dog and they have remained the same as when I bought them. Super comfy as well. Recommended at this price.

I bought these boots as i was looking for something comfortable and strdy to wear on my 3 mile daily walk to work. These have proved to be just the thing. Good quality leather and well made. They take a little breaking in but nothing too much. The colour is really nice too. Not a bright green but not bottle green either. perfect with black jeans.

Da sempre porto i Dr Martens. Non sono una imitazione, anche se il sito ufficiale dei Dottori, li mette con il marchio impresso sulla pelle all'altezza del malleolo. Li ho anche neri e bianchi acquistati sul sito ufficiale e il marchio impresso c'é eccome. Ho chiamato un negozio di Milano, dove dovrebbero vendere quelli originali, mi hanno spiegato che la produzione non avviene piú in inghilterra ma a Taiwan, se nei vostri c'é scritto Made in China, sono l'imitazione. Per essere sicuri comperateli sul sito ufficiale, i prezzi sono in Sterline, ma per 20 € in piú non rischio un''altra volta. Un paio neri li ho resi appunto perché fatti in Cina, difatti non erano nemmeno in tinta gli occhielli delle stringhe. Color acciaio e non nero e la pelle non tinta all'interno. metodo piú semplice per vedere se sono originali.

Consegna arrivata prima del previsto! Queste scarpe sono stupende, ho quelle nere da 10 anni e ancora sono intatte. Le ho prese bianche sempre numero 39 e mi calzano perfettamente anche se sono ancora un po' dure.
