Does anyone actually notice a difference when it's used?** A: The "Jasmine" setting will actually soak the rice prior to cooking, the total time to cook on "Jasmine" setting is approximately 90 minutes! We usually cook Jasmine rice using the "Quick" setting, takes about 40 minutes. The only difference is the Jasmine setting is more fluffy, if you like that. If you are cooking more than 3 cups and plan to have it warming for a few hours or couple of days, "Jasmine" will be fine. For cooking small amounts, (< 2 cups) we use the "Quick" setting. **Q: Is the inner pot/bowl dishwasher safe?** A: No. The inner pot is non-stick, and putting it in the dishwasher might remove the non-stick coating. **Q: More information about the proposition 65?** A: Thank you for your inquiry.
