Donic-Schildkröt Table Tennis Rubber

I bought both this 700 and the 900.There is not much of a difference.The rubbers are good. Nothing special.I put them on a standard allaround all wood bat (not Schildkrot) and they play OK.Looping is OK but control not really. Spin is about OK - need to really brush it hardRemoving them is a pain. The glue layer partially sticks to the wood and partially to the rubber. It is easy to remove the residue fro the wood but very difficult to remove from the rubber - it will take ages and it must be done otherwise uneven surface will affect the play.Comparing them to Chinese rubbers like Friendship, Kokutaku, and others - you get much more for your money from the Chinese rubbers.Better spin, significantly better control and with the right bat (allaround or OFF- all wood) perfect speed for all styles of play.This is my opinion. The rubber is quite tacky. Not too fast, but fine for an amateur like me. Obviously, £10 for both rubbers is cheap compared to most "pro" rubbers, but the rubber quality is better than most ready made bats one might buy for £20.These rubbers are pre cut. They did not fit my blade exactly (about 2mm smaller than the blade at the sides), but it was good enough. However, next time, I am likely to go for a rectangular sheet and cut it to shape.

The delivery came before sheduled time. The rubbers are good replacements to any old TT BAT/BLADE.

My husband who plays table tennis regularly says that these bat rubbers are very good giving him plenty of feel and control of the ball and also give power for fast attacking shots. The rubbers are very easy to change being pre glued and cut to size, no more messy gluing and cutting out with scissors. He finds its best not to leave the bat in a case but to take it out and store the bat in a plastic bag between 2 books when not being used, this stops any of the rubber coming unstuck when playing.

This is the first time I have bought replacements myself (my grandad always did it!). I am a reasonably competent player and the rubbers behaved exactly as described. good quality. Easy to fit (and refit when you do it wrong)I will definitely use these again

Being a former County player but not played for 40 years I found this rubber inexpensive and very easy to apply to the bat and yes I have not lost my winning touch even at 61. I'm now going to try the QRC 1000
