Although sold as a hiking staff, I purchased this for my boyfriend who struggles with severe walking difficulties, and it has become an essential part of his daily life. Unlike standard canes, which often buckle under pressure, this staff is incredibly sturdy and dependable. It gives him the confidence to walk without fear of his support failing. What truly sets this staff apart is its ability to prevent dangerous falls. When he occasionally loses consciousness, a normal cane would collapse, sending him to the ground. I am a partially disabled veteran and I live in the desert. I am always out and about. I run across coyotes and other wild life from time to time. I feel I have an extra level of protection as well as a Very well made, sturdy and durable piece of equipment. Easy to size to your height and plenty of options. Due to my disability I have to use a cane from time to time and this perfect fit that as well. I take out a section or two and I’m ready to go. I take it with me everywhere. ( I get a lot of compliments on my cane at the VA hospital ) BUY THIS. YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY

I really like this walking stick. It's heavy duty and a good value for the money. It is a heavy weight, but I don't think it's to heavy. I am short and wish it had a 1/2 tube option. Having all the pieces in it makes it slightly to tall but if I take one out it feels to short. I also wish it had a built in wrist strap or a hole so one can be added. The treads squeaked so I lubricated the threads and they are easier to put together and take apart.

The walking stick is wonderful it is a little heavy but it is way solid and each insert piece is 6.9 in long so you can adjust the height. The tools are hidden inside each of the sections and you simply have to remove the section flip the tool from one end to the other and you're ready to go. However the non-skid end skids on tile and slick surfaces. no big deal. I changed it. With five sections and my new tip it is exactly the right height for me to use as a cane bearing weight on the end of the T handle when I have shoes on. I am 6'0" tall.

I bought 3 of these for my adult sons. Two didn’t come with the topper handle with the flint stick and Amazon just wanted to refund the entire item. I was able to reach out to the owner and he said he couldn’t gaurantee he could replace them but there they were a few days later in the mailbox in time for Christmas too!! These reviews were right on the spot! My sons were a little surprised why I got them but they truly loved them as they love anything along the line of sporting, hunting/fishing or anything survival related!! Very sturdy and I showed them the first review on this site and how there’s more than just one way to join the pieces together! Very pleased with this purchase!!

I'm very pleased with this. I was looking for something I could take hiking that is "stronger than me" - in other words, something that could support my body weight, that I could thwack against something if I needed to, and that I would never worry about breaking. I was disappointed with the vast majority of trekking poles as they looked like they could barely support a toddler let alone an adult. I can confidently say that I have no idea how I would break this. The included tools are neat but I don't really ever see myself needing them. It is quite heavy and though I myself am fine with it (I am hiking for the exercise and want to exert myself) there are others who would not enjoy it. I would never recommend that this be used as a cane. It's too heavy and the tip is hard plastic that slams against the floor. You will bust someone's floor with this and owe them $$$. I am slightly concerned that I will look like a maniac carrying this thing down a forest path but... oh well. I will feel confident with it.

The overall rating for the product is tough for me. The stick itself is outstanding. If it wasn't over 5 stars, it would have an overall rating of 2 or 3. It is tough, and heavy duty. A hiker that would be using it for many miles many days in a row might want lighter, but for my uses it is a plus. I expect it to serve me well for a long time. That is the good. I bought the model with the tools. They were about what I expected for the extra I paid. Not something I would want to count on in any situation. They seemed ok, and they would probably get a 3 stars. The folding knife does not seem to be as strong, and the saw seems so small as to only seem like a reasonable option for the smallest of branches. The main problem is they don't come with anything that covers the cutting surface. If you take them out of the stick, there isn't something to cover any of the blades. At this price point, I think that would be a reasonable expectation. Do not feel deceived or cheated, but there is a lot of room for improvement in the tools. When you do remove the tools, it does one thing I did not expect and that is it shortens the stick. There is a threaded end on the end of each tool that has about an inch or so that screws into the rest of the stick. It decreases the length of the overall stick by about an inch for each tool removed. In my situation it was enough that I needed another extension tube. I liked the stick well enough to order one. That brought me to the next problem. The numbers that match assessory to the right stick are very confusing. It said the threads are different for the different sticks, but that would seem to be the first thing one would standardize. I looked and couldn't find anything that says what the threads are on my model. I never found numbers I matched. I searched on the number provided on the stick, but the numbers on the extension references numbers that do not appear on the stick page. I think I got the right one, but it shouldn't be that hard. The two descriptions should have easily found numbers that make it easy to see its the right one. I would appreciate the thread and tube size if the manufacturer would be kind enough to supply it. It is likely I am going to need a height that will not match the extensions act and will need a tube of a length other than the standard extension tubes. A big add to the product would be extension tubes that are 1, 2, and 3 inches. By being able to have those, one could customize the length to the individual buyers needs. Finally the downright dangerous. It's as many have said the tip. On anything other than soil, the tip that came with it is a trip to the hospital waiting to happen. On soil it might work, but anything else taking weight of any amount without it slipping is expecting a miracle. On any regular floor, it is more of a liability than an asset. I don't have carpet in the house anymore, and it might be better on that, but any hard surface is going to be really problematic and at this price point, that was a big surprise. The tip I would give a rating of below 0, even with the fire starter attached. I went and got a non slip table leg tip to put on it to correct the problem. With a non slip tip, it works well. That fixes the slip problem, but it also shortens the stick again. That takes another maybe 2 to 3 inches off the length. The other change I would make is some way to have a cap between sections. The inside of the stick has room to put things that are valuable to someone that would be important in a given area, but not necessarily everywhere. A cap that would attach like the tools, but separate the sections of the stick so items in one section could not fall into the one below it would be a big help It is a good product, but it could be a lot better and not add anything to the price.

I was in need of a cane due to mobility issues but didn’t want a basic “typical” cane . I came across this on Amazon and was intrigued . I was drawn to the additional features and multi purposefulness of it Since receiving it , I use it almost daily . It is great how it provides both functionality and, safety and assisted mobility . 100% would recommend

I'm very impressed by the quality of this item. It is very versatile and sturdy. I do think the bottom section that contains the fire steel would have been better if it had a rubber ferrule rather than being made out of one piece of plastic, but I'm sure it could easily be modified. I also feel that a strategically placed piece of sticky tape would have improved a certain aspect.

Solid walking stick even if I find it a little heavy just means little more of walk out ! For me the fit is amazing given before I had adjustable and fold up stick it's solid I don't feel rattle of the parts when I am moving not like it isn't solid the moments all my weight is on it I am reliving on it the most It's great value for money as these are thick metal tubes making up the length I also live the fact I can leave the tools in the bag making it my go to stick for not just dog walking but walking normally finding the extra weight is a good workout 😁💪

Die Knaufenden eignen sich zum Nägel einschlagen ohne das Kratzer entstehen. Die voll modulare Bauweise lässt alle möglichen Endprodukte entstehen. Vom Wanderstock bis zum kubotan bis zum Polizeistock. Nichts für Kinder jedenfalls.
