THERMOS delivers when it matters. THERMOS brand products offer superior insulation that keeps food at its maximum temperature retention for hours, and the 10 ounce FUNtainer food jar is no exception. THERMOS vacuum insulation technology virtually eliminates temperature change within the beverage container by creating an airless space between two stainless steel walls. The result is an insulation layer that performs better than any other. A superior insulated container you can depend on to keep your child's food hot or cold for longer. This food jar keeps food cold up to 7 hours and hot for 5 hours. Constructed with double wall stainless steel, this 10 ounce food jar is built to withstand the demands of everyday use with its durable stainless steel interior and exterior and features a wide mouth that is easy to fill, serve from and clean. In order to maximize the incredible insulation technology, it is recommended to pre-chill or pre-heat the jar just prior to use. Review: Love. Real. - We love these in our house. My daughter loves the button and always closes the top so when its closed it doesn't spill. This isn't leakproof unless closed, just an fyi. I always thought the lid would be annoying but this is her cup of choice so we switched over to them for water bottles and she loves that she can use the handle on the kid to carry it. I like that they keep drinks cool for a longer time so I dont have to run to the fridge to put milk away if she stops drinking it. The image will come off eventually but all cups will wear eventually. To address the fake comments, I too was concerned as the one we bought on desertcart had an opaque straw, not clear. I also read about an imprint on the tread meaning it was authentic. I compared to one I bought at target and noticed that did not have the imprint, and I knew that was authentic. I then contacted thermos because if it was a fake I wouldn't let my daughter drink it, and they confirmed that this is from them and authentic (I sent the desertcart link) and that they make opaque and clear straw tops. So, if in doubt contact thermos directly. Review: Tip: Buy an extra straw in case your kid "goes Cujo" on it like mine did😄 - My daughter started Kindergarten this fall and being in Texas I wanted something to keep her water cool/cold for school. I guess I had been living under a rock because I had never seen these Funtainer Thermos' before and am so happy I came across them! I was originally going to buy her a Hyrdoflask since mine works so well but came across these just in time...which worked out so much better for her! The fun designs alone are great. She was thrilled to see R2D2 (Any chance there's a BB8 out...or will be out? We would totally but it!). I always handwash it, so it's still in great shape so far. We have only used it for water/ice water so far...so I have no experience with how well it holds up for smoothies and all. I can tell you that when school first started it was 100 degrees outside and it kept ice cold water for around 2 hours (I had left it outside but didn't think to try it any longer). My daughter said by the time she had recess and lunch, she would go to fill it up and the ice was melted...but would still keep her water cool for the bus ride home which was a plus! Now that it is fall, there is still ice in it when she gets home...some melts but she usually refills it with water at least once during her day. We haven't had any problems with leaking but like I mentioned we have only used it for water so I can't speak for other liquids. As I mentioned in the title, I'd order an extra straw just in case...the first day of my daughter taking it to school, she went Cujo and chewed up like half of it...I don't think she ate any pieces (at least we hoped not👀😯) because there were just holes and little flaps of straw dangling off😂😳 I cut off the half that was mauled and just had her use it that way, still works lol but I plan on ordering the replacement pack at some point. I also ordered the hot pink and, like R2D2, I hand wash it and it's in great shape. The lid buttons are still working great and it's the perfect size for my little kindergartener! Also, the price is really not much more than a lot of the plastic bottles, which is nice. Very happy and will buy more in the future! ## Features - THERMOS vacuum insulation technology for maximum temperature retention, not for use with hot liquids - Durable stainless steel interior and exterior - Hygienic push button lid with pop-up straw and integrated carry handle - Keeps cold 12 hours - 12 ounce capacity; hand washing recommended ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B002J03PBA | | Additional Features | Lightweight | | Age Range (Description) | Kid | | Age Range Description | Kid | | Best Sellers Rank | #185,141 in Kitchen & Dining ( See Top 100 in Kitchen & Dining ) #1,513 in Insulated Bottles | | Brand | THERMOS | | Brand Name | THERMOS | | Cap Type | Flip Top Cap | | Capacity | 12 ounces | | Color | Assorted | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 29,941 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00041205614951 | | Included Components | Bottle | | Item Dimensions W x H | 4.5"W x 3.5"H | | Item Type Name | Funtainer Kids Straw Bottle | | Item Weight | 8.48 ounces | | Manufacturer | Thermos | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | 5 year manufacturer | | Material Type | Stainless Steel | | Model Name | Funtainer Kids Straw Bottle | | Number of Items | 1 | | Pattern | Bottle | | Product Care Instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Recommended Uses For Product | Tea, Water | | Special Feature | Lightweight | | Theme | Food & Drink | | UPC | 041205614951 | | Unit Count | 12 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** THERMOS - **Capacity:** 12 ounces - **Color:** Assorted - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Tea, Water - **Special Feature:** Lightweight ## Images ![FUNTAINER 12 Ounce Stainless Steel Kids Bottle, Batman - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51eHPEAqjRL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: I need to replace the plastic straw system. He loves it because his favorite character on the bottle and the straw is easy to use (so he's willing to drink more water!), pop-up lid is convenient too. I love it because it's easy to clean the straw, lightweight and it doesn't leak (as long as you put the straw part back right). When my second son was old enough to use straw bottle, I bought him another funtainer and he loves it too. After we carelessly lost his Thomas bottle, I bought him a water bottle from other brand instead because Funtainer is not that cheap. Unfortunately he didn't like drinking from the new bottle, even it still had Thomas printed on the bottle. So we ended up buying Funtainer again and now he is happy. Guess I shouldn't have wasted my time and money looking for replacement of Funtainer. P.S We just called their customer service for straw replacement after I read some useful reviews here. It only cost $1 per straw (limit 5) and $3 for shipping (no matter you order 1 straw or 5). Thanks for these wonderful reviews and save us some money for straw. ## Frequently Bought Together - Thermos Funtainer 12 Ounce Bottle, Batman - THERMOS FUNTAINER 12 Ounce Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated Kids Straw Bottle, Spider-Man --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/1475346-funtainer-12-ounce-stainless-steel-kids-bottle-batman](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/1475346-funtainer-12-ounce-stainless-steel-kids-bottle-batman) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-08*
