Infant and Child Feeding and Swallowing: Occupational Therapy Assessment and Intervention

Focused a lot more the medical conditions and medical studies/tests used in swallowing (VFES, etc) than I had expected and very little info on actual feeding assessments with children

Infant and Child Feeding and Swallowing is an excellent resource for professionals in additional to those who are interested in expanding their own knowledge regarding feeding concerns. This is a well written, comprehensive manual that incorporates current research regarding children who have feeding and swallowing disorders while providing a solid foundation for understanding normal development. This manual fills a very large hole that exists on this subject. As a feeding specialist who lectures, teaches, and works with child with feeding problems I have found this book to be more accurate and better organized than others on the market.
