wasn't what i was looking for

Not impressed. Look elsewhere for gaither written music.

This book is intended for someone that is learning to play, I will look closer at what I am buying next time. Gave to someone that teaches music to children , they should love it.

It wasn't what I expected, but I'm glad I ordered it.

Like the songs

I love the songs and the melodies- the music makes me happy and so thankful for the Gaithers and their music. It is such a joy to be able to play and try to sing and feel that I am worshiping the Lord. I am 79 years old and the music is such a joy to me.I stay home most of the time because of health reasons, but the music always assures me that I am not alone and I am loved by Jesus.

Being an avid listener to the Gaithers I appreciate having this book in our music library. Great songs for all to enjoy and worship along with.

Great Value

This is a nice book but did not fit the bill as there is only one melody line written and now chords written out full for keyboard player. Also the music is so large that you are turning pages every few bars which is a bit difficult.

Bill and Gloria Gaither were master composers of gospel lyrics and music - the greatest gospel composers of the 20th Century and very much under-represented in church hymnals and music today. Their music was part of the great Christian renewals of the1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. Another valuable resource for those wanting to learn to play great gospel music.
