RED Heart 66399 Super Saver Yarn, Mexicana Print

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I received my order today, came very fast, I actually ordered a blue colored yarn last week but it wasn't quite the color I was looking for. But this Royal Blue is perfect, this is the Royal Blue I was wanting. It is a very fat package of yarn. I love it and can't wait to make a few things from it. Thread quality: Prefect!!

This is my first time trying this yarn. I really like it alot but for some reason, the first skein I opened had this weird, almost waxy residue on the yarn. It makes the stitching that is coming straight from the center of the skin look dirty. That has disappointed me a little. I will wash the hat that I am making when I'm done but there needs to be some QA checks done on these skins before they are put into circulation for sale. I will buy more b/c I know this is an anomaly but I'd thought I'd be honest about this first review. 5 stars b/c the colors are gorgeous and the yarn is soft and easy to work with.

This yarn is a good bargain and it doesn't fray. That said, it is too thin for me. If you prefer soft, bulky yarns this is not the one.

Completely perfect, bagged red heart yarn. Same dye lots. It is not the large skiens, just standard size. Im working through the first skien and its working up wonderfully into an alien themed item. No factory knots so far, yarn is equal in size making it very easy to keep tension. Its texture is like any other red heart yarn, a little scratchy- But nothing some fabric softener can't fix!! I will be buying again!!

I got the color, "persimmon". In the picture for this yarn, the color looked pink, but it is actually more orange than pink. To me it looks like the color of raw salmon. I really like it but now I need to place another order for pink as that is what I wanted. Since this is still very pretty I will keep it. The skeins are HUGE. This price is a wonderful deal for the 3 skeins. I know with this brand of yarn it feels rough at 1st but in my experience it softens up quite a bit after the 1st wash. I also LOVE that they have the center pull already out and ready so I don't have to go fishing for it.

I really like this color. I have made a hat and scarf for a Christmas present and it really turned out out nice.

More expensive that I usually pay but ordered anyways because I really wanted the colour. Colour is perfect for pairing with tan, navy, grey or almost anything. Normally buy at Walmart but couldn't get the colour. I use this brand a lot and good value for the money. Not overly soft to work with but softens nicely when washed a couple of times.

Twice I was sent the wrong colour. First time customer service promised me it would be right next time, try again. After getting the wrong colour a second time I gave up and bought locally. Looking at the yarn, this may have been fortunate as it is not very good quality. I bought Threads and Loops in Michaels, which was cheaper AND better.

good acrylic yarn, 330 meters for such a reasonable price, very easy to work with.

Beautiful shades of colour. Thicker than DK yarns like Hayfield bonus, not as soft as other yarns but is good quality, strong yarn. Easy to RIP.
