My son is a competitive player. We've tried many different brands of grip socks over the years. Lux are the best quality of any brand. Unlike other brands, Lux have grips on the inside and the outside and the sleeve part goes up far enough, but not too far, up the leg to help secure shin guards in place. Lux are also thicker than other brands and the grips are stickier. They are a bit pricey, but they also last longer than other brands.
