I was concerned about the seat falling because of other reviews, but frankly all it takes is you tightening it correctly. Yes, it can start riding down but frankly all it takes is you tightening the screw a bit. If tightened all the way, it will be impossible to push down no matter how long you ride it. You have to tighten it to the point where pushing the latching bar is almost too hard to push in. If it takes all your strength, you've done it right. On the bad side, the fact that you have to use so much strength to properly latch this is definitely problematic. But don't be afraid, it does work correctly and doesn't ride down. Also, definitely make sure you follow instructions on installing as well as keeping those instructions nearby or memorizing them because I uninstalled and reinstalled months later and subsequently forgot a step and I did some damage to it. Not enough to break it or make it unusable, but I put a nice dent in it. If I had done more damage I certainly could have ruined it.Anyway, it is a fantastic addition to the scooter. In covid times, when you can't eat inside a restaurant, you basically have a "portable seat" with this thing. Fantastic for waiting outside for food or services rendered to you curbside. I have had a nice sitting break and eaten ice cream in the heat. When stopped at red lights I have a seat. Sometimes I sit the entire ride. It's great.It adds a lot more folding time and weight to the scooter. That being the case, eventually I removed it permanently, only to reinstall it once my girlfriend decides to start using it in the future. I enjoyed the heck out of it when installed, though, and it makes riding the scooter much, MUCH more easy. Make sure you think about it before ordering it because of these issues. If you need to fold and carry your scooter often you should not buy this. If your scooter is in your trunk or RV and it's for the beach or something and you are just relaxing with it and using it in a relatively safe area, then by all means buy it.

Solid attachment, comfy seat, makes this scooter usable by my 77 year old mom, who would be too nervous standing up. Only complaint is that it’s not foldable with ES4’s battery pack, and that seems like just laziness in the design.

I was so looking forward to adding this to my ES2. I could not have been more wrong about an item! First off, installing it was a bitch! I had to use a full size 5mm hex wrench to turn the bolts and it would have been impossible with the tiny little one they provided. Secondly. The design of the clamp on plate's attachment means is precarious at best and just plain unsafe, imo. Just such a stupid design. Thirdly, the saddle sits on an absurdly springy suspension seat post so poorly designed that you are pogoing on it while seated. It is an insanely uncomfortable set up and I say this as a long time cyclist. Fourth, and the worst part, is that you can no longer ride this scooter standing up with this contraption attached. Do not buy this! Get an electric bike if you want to ride sitting down. I am returning this tomorrow.

I weigh 200lbs and for the life of me, the seat post keeps slipping until I'm low riding. I assumed my weight was the issue. I have the clamp so tight (yes I used the plastic insert) that I have to use a hammer to set it and a bar to release it. It needs a bolt through the receiver... I bought 2 of these for our scooters. My wife weighs 100lbs. Same issue.Pros1. Mounts securely with ingenious hardware.2. Color matched.3. Easy assembly.Cons1. Poor instructions.2. The tube is so flimsy you feel like you're whipping as if you're sitting on an antenna.3. No access to rear brake.4. Less control ( dangerously so on an ES4 top speed).5. Pricey.6. Constant adjustment of the clamp and seat height.Hard no on this one. It isn't horrible, but I wish I hadn't bought them.

Perfect fit for the ES1L model. It’s got thick cushion and spring suspension too. Make sure to insert the seat post at least to the minimum position to avoid damage and the post coming out.

ATTENTION!!! This product is Great! It’s sturdy as hell (I’m about 230lbs) and I switched out the seat to make it more comfortable. I find that this is a great feature especially for bumpy terrain which these scooters aren’t really made for. It allows me to sit and stabilize myself even for just a couple seconds. This product should be sold with the ninebot without question. I might grab another one just in case it fails but so far I am super happy with it. One quick think though, the installation is a bit odd because the little plastic bit you screw into doesn’t have any ridges so you wonder how the screws will grab and be secure. Anyway, I don’t really know how it works and don’t really care but, Make sure you check the screws are tight every couple trips

I like the price and the quality but the scooter this fits is not electric. It's a kickscooter. A kickscooter with a seat??? How does that work. You are kicking to move, and you must stand up.Anyway, that's my review. It won't fit my G30 which I bought it for, and my abilioty to adapt it is hampered by the fact it will take some work. If you can manage that, it will save you about $50

The quality is great. Remember it’s not compatible with Ninebot Max G30P. The scooter’s deck is a bit wider than the seat base.

I really loved that comfortable seat for my ninebot allowing to ride seated or up.It helped smoothing the road.After a little more than 2 years of occasional uses, I found that the base tube is severely cracked and ready to break completely anytime !Very annoying and dangerous for a seat that cost more than 100$.This is a security issue and is unacceptable!

now that am up in age,i do find this item to be a must,what a difference it makes for long distance ridding,easy to assemble as well,should have got this add on seat a long time ago,no regrets,well worth the money !!!
