Quick Loops - Fast Kayak and Canoe Tie Down Anchor Straps for Car Hoods and Trunks

Worked well with a Volkswagen car and Kia SUV. Universal, good quality, very safe when used properly, well worth the money.

I’ve only used these twice - first time for a half hour trip (hour round trip) and second time for an 9 hour trip (18 hours round trip). They worked great. We only needed to use two (in front) as we have tie downs on our hitch. So I like that when/if these wear out, we’ll have two more. They were extremely easy to use and seemed very secure. I would highly recommend them if you are planning on carrying your kayaks on your roof. I used them with camstraps which made the whole process very quick and easy to cinch up and get everything nice and tight.

Most new cars are a form of plastic and you can't find metal to tie down something on the roof. I have a kayak and used FishYuan quick loops and they are easy to use, put two under the hood of the car and two on the back hatch (suv) and worked great. Durable, easy to use and quickly tied down the bow and stern of the kayak. Great product!

Webbing and seams look fine. The only issue I see is that if really stressed the webbing could possibly rip thru the rubber tubing. That would take considerable force, but a 50+ lb boat (a lot are much heavier) at emergency breaking at 50-70 mph not strapped tight enough to cross bars or the OEM cross bars fail (most OEM cross bars are only rated at 50 - 75 lbs of load) extreme load would would be placed on these front/rear anchor points. If bar or tubing fails the boat will become a large projectile (yes I have seen it happen 3 times)..That's the reason for these anchors; stop the boat(s) from leaving your vehicle forward or rearward. I cut 5/8" wood dowels a bit shorter than the rubber tubing and inserted them so the webbing is around the dowel. You have the protection of the rubber with the dowel adding tremendous reinforcement to prevent the webbing tearing thru the rubber sleeve.

These hooks to put in the hood and the back end of my vehicle worked great! My Kayak was very stable in place along with my portable rack tie downs on top of the vehicle no movement going 55mph. Great product.

I must admit I was a little skeptical at first, having used an attached strap with gromet in the past. I wanted to try these for a long trip and to attach my canoe. They worked well in the front under the hood and in the back under the rear door. Very rough terrain and a long trip across the US and it held nicely, even in high winds. Definitely worth the money and I will purchase a set for my truck as well.

I bought these to avoid further damaging the paint on my SUV with the ratchet straps I had been using to secure my kayak bow and stern. Also, it was a pain to load up my kayak; I had to raise the hood and secure the front to an open hole and get on my knees and lean under the back of the car to find the tow hook. With these, I just popped one under the hood, one under the rear door, gave a quick tug and hooked pulley ratchets to them. Along with the straps that secured the kayak to the J hooks, my kayak was very stable and nothing came loose, wobbled, or made that awful strap-in-the-wind sound. Additionally, no straps touch my car so my paint is safe!

These are great. Our new car does not have tie downs under the bumpers, but even if it did, I realize these are a much better option. No risk of your tie down scratching bumper paint, super easy to use, and long enough to make things simple. However, I would hate to think what would happen to my car if a kayak came flying off at highway speeds, but I am careful with all my kayak tied downs and this is not really an issue.

Drove these across Canada with a canoe attached and no problems they worked great and saved so much time and effort. They are so much easier to attach a canoe and it takes a fraction of the time. Don't hesitate to get these!
