Bought from BN Products - March 2016. Good to Dec 2020. So good for 4 1/2 years not 7.

Hello. I am not sure why the price is marked that way. I believe it is something done by Amazon as it is not an option I (as a seller) have. My price is listed at $14. I hope this helps.

I can only tell you that I ordered a bunch of these at least a year or two ago and I checked one and it had an expiration date of 12-2022. I have been very satisfied with them. Maybe I'm just lucky but I have never had a 9v battery leak, no matter how old it was.

GREAT LONG LASTING BATTERIES
