Not a great product. Firstly, I have received the item which is used. It is not working as expected. Most of the times it doesn't even play music. I need to remove cable from aux connector and plug it back. Sound quality is not good. I feel my bluetooth is giving better sound than aux cable. My previous cable was cheap but far far far better than the belkin aux cable for which I paid more than $30 bucks. Not worth buying it.

It's not going to fit in tight places, or with rugged cases.
Belkin Car Stereo Cable for iPod/iPhone (3 Feet) I got a problem. This is obviously a very nice cable. It works just as you would expect, it's made of quality materials. It seems very rugged, it's just that the connector housing is quite large. If you have your device protected (me: an iPhone 5 in an Otterbox Defender) you may have a problem with the connector fitting on to your device. I did, it would not connect to my iPhone 5 in the Defender case. So I can't use this as a cable to connect it to my car or anywhere else, really, as my phone stays in its case. I tested it outside the Defender and with other phones and players. It's a quality cable. I just can't give it the recommendation I'd like to as any protective case is most likely going to have extra protection around the headphone jack. This will pose a problem for you. If your situation is different this could be a quality choice.
