It does sound a little bit like a chyna even though it is an 18" cymbal. But it's a nice difference in contrast to some of the wet k customs. The top is uncoated and will change but you need to treat it a little. The bottom side is coated and won't need much attention. I thought it would have been a thin sound but that is not the case. Full sound fast decay.

Absolutely love this ride. Edge is great for jazz. Bell rings true and can drive a straight beat in the mid sections. Crash even sound big and not too trashy. I pretty amazed after switching from an 80s Ping Ride by Zildjian. Love it.
