Ono Hawaiian Seasoning From Hawaii,8 Ounce

I came across this seasoning several years ago, It's great for many things. I can't find it in any store here so I have been ordering it from Amazon. The seller was very responsive and the item arrived as expected the next day (great service). The price is reasonable although, as with everything recently, much more expensive than a couple of years ago.

Ordered Ono Hawaiian seasoning from Amazon because I could not find any in my nearby Maui grocery stores. Been using this product for many years for many dishes but constantly use it on salmon and guacamole, turning fish and avocado into a meal for the gods. My cousin in Alaska prepares a lot of salmon and since turning him on to it that’s the only seasoning he uses which speaks volumes. Price, availability, shipping time, and packaging were excellent. From now on I’m done searching my local stores and I will just order on Amazon. Mahalo Amazon!

I use this stuff on almost everything. I grew up in Hawaii cooking with this. I like to take a pork butt or shoulder, poke it full of holes, rub in Ono Seasoning all over it, then cook it in the Instant Pot with some water for an hour and a half, then taking it out and putting in a cut up head of cabbage for three minutes while shredding the pork, and voila! You’ve got Kalua cabbage. This is also good in meatloaf or chicken long rice. I’m so glad that I can get this on the Mainland!

This is a delicious seasoning salt. Marinate your steak in it for several hours and you will never use anything else! I also really like it on eggs and roasted veggies, especially broccoli. An essential seasoning for our family!

We fell in love with Ono fish on our last trip to the islands. I stumbled across the seasoning here and couldn't wait to try it. Since ono fish isn't readily available in Oklahoma, I used it on tilapia. I've only tried it once and found it to be very salty. I'm going to take the blame and say I used too much. Look forward to trying it again when I'll use more restraint.
