Sadly, this never worked for me and I returned immediately. So sad because it's very cute and a neat little idea. I charged immediately, and it flickered one time for about 5 seconds and never lit up again. Amazon returns are amazingly simple, so not a problem at all to return, but I really wanted this to work. It's smaller than I thought too and about 8 inches tall.UPDATE****Ok, so customer service with is AMAZING!! They read my review, emailed me asap, and offered me a replacement FOR FREE - shipped immediately, and I will tell you guys that the new one works great. It's a fun light for the kids as you turn it on and off by blowing on it like a real lantern. While not very bright, it is light and a fun little light.

My girls are 2 and 3 and they just love this light. They love being able to blow it out and adjust the brightness. I took one star away because sometimes it will not turn ON until you blow on it as well. But once we figured that out it was no big deal.

So much better than I expected! I purchased two of these for my 3 and 5 year old kids' bedside table. These lanterns are light weight without being flimsy. They're well made. Very well made. The bottom has a non slip disc adhered which is a detail I really appreciate. To use the lantern, you switch it on and blow on the top of the lamp, and voila. It's really fun. The knob adjusts the brightness of the light, and the light has a gentle flickering effect. To turn it off, you simply blow it out. My kids love it. The lamp top comes apart, which is great if it ever needs to be cleaned or the blub replaced. The best part though is that the battery is rechargeable via included USB plug. Love, love, love this item and have already recommended it to people I know.

Sometimes blowing on it does nothing. Sometimes it shuts off by itself. Puts off very little light. But it looks cute.Update - company read my review & sent me one immediately. Free of charge. I was impressed by the customer service. I was afraid the second one wouldn't turn on at first, but then I read a review that said sometimes you have to blow on it to turn on & it worked! What's really interesting is that if I blow on one, the other one shuts off, too.Super cute, though!

The concept is great, but they don't work all of the time. I purchased these as a reward system in my classroom and one of the four I bought has never worked when blown on/off and two others that did work originally are not working at 3 weeks into the school year. If you are really needing a reliable light this may not be the choice for you...with that said they are fun when they work!

I bought 1 at first liked it so I bought 5 more. I Charged the new ones up all at the same time and after 5 hrs I stopped charging and 1 was hot. I waited till the next day to try it and it will not work unless I keep it plugged in. Other than that I love the others. I wanted a replacement but that was not an option. I will add the first one did not always stay on but then I decided that was not totally a bad thing. I just want all of them to work and that is not the case. Since I bought these for everyone in the immediate family I'm the one with the defectUpdate They refunded the $ I paid for the one that did not work and told me not to bother sending it back. They were also sold out so I could not get a replacement Onite was the seller

元々、光量のある実用的なLEDライトが好みだったので、ランプタイプには興味がなかったのですが、息吹きでの点灯／消灯、揺らめく灯り、オイルランプ形状のデザインとお洒落で遊び心あふれる商品に心引かれて購入しました。ボディカラーのメタリックブルーは、当方のPCモニターで見るよりも濃い色でカッコイイです。基本性能は高いので停電時や災害には役立つのは勿論ですが、この商品は普段使いにも色々と楽しめそうですね。某オーディオ誌にも、暗い方が聴く事に集中するので音楽の持つニュアンスが理解出来るとの記事が有りましたので好きなジャズを聴く時に、オーディオまわりにこのライトを使ってみようと思います。節電にもなりますしね。また、お休み前のベットサイド、楽しいお酒のひとときやパーティーなどアイデア次第で何処でも活躍しそうです。最大光量にしても眩しくなく暖かい光が眼に優しいので、ゆったりとした時間が過ごせそうです。ただ、読書するには少し厳しいかな〜。防雨・防湿仕様では無いので、メーカーは推奨しないと思いますが、軽いので屋外でも使えそうです。本格的なキャンプなどでは難しそうですが、庭やベランダでの夕涼み、花火、夜桜や紅葉鑑賞、流星群やお月見などの天体ショーや観測会のお供にもよろしいかと。充電時間は、付属の英語取説には2時間、こちらの商品説明には2.5時間とありますので、3時間もあれば十分では無いでしょうか。長く愛用できるお気に入り商品ですが、充電状態が一目で分かるインジケーターとミニUSB用保護カバー（シャッタータイプでも可）があれば、もっと良かったですね。（自転車用のUSB充電ライトは、ゴム製のUSB用保護カバー付きでインジケーターが満充電で青色、充電量が少なくなると赤になる機能があったり、充電中はインジケーターが点滅、充電完了で点灯しなくなる仕組みとなっていて、大変良く出来ています。）また、上部の透明シェードは傷がつきやすいので、補修部品として別売があるとさらに嬉しい。このランプに使えるOniteの5600mAhモバイルバッテリー（メタルブルー）も欲しくなってきました。

結構強く息を吹きかけないと点灯しないようです。初めて届いた時、充電1時間ぐらいで、息を吹きかけてみましたが点灯しませんでした。説明書にあるように、4時間以上みっちり充電しないとイケナイのかなと思い、4時間たってから息を吹きかけてみましたが、点灯しなかったので、おや？と思い息をもっと強く吹きかけてみました。すると、無事に点灯しました。息の吹き方が弱かったのですね～。これって結構しんどいかも。。。明かりをつけるには、必ず息を吹きかけないといけません。消すときは、OFFボタンでも消えますが...ONボタンだけで点灯できるといいのになと思いました。私が購入したのは、仕様変更後の「ゆらぎ無し」タイプですが、夕方の屋外での作業に使用しますので、ゆらぎは必要ないため特に問題ありません。安定した光のほうが好ましいので私には良かったです。本体がプラスチック製というのも良かったです。ガラスだとケコたら割れるので、プラスチック製で助かりました。調光可能なのも良いですね。目的には合っていると思うので、重宝しそうです。

キャンドル風に光がゆらぐとのことで２個購入しましたが、単なる調光ができるＬＥＤライトでした。他の方のレビュー動画とはかけ離れた製品です。Ｏｎｉｔｅのアフターサービス担当者に問い合わせたところ、連絡なしで工場が勝手に仕様変更してるそうです。仕様変更された理由はわかりません。光がゆらぐことはないそうです。残念ながら、ただのＬＥＤライトです、ご注意下さい。追記、ショップの対応は素晴らしいです。こちらから催促した訳でもないのに迅速に返金手続がされました（出品者評価は星５個です）。ここは商品の評価ですので、私にはキャンドルのように光が揺らめく雰囲気に商品価値を求めて購入したので私の評価は変えられません。他のユーザが光がゆらめくと思って購入し、多くのクレームや酷評されないように、ここで☆１つの評価があったほうが良いと思います。尚、調光可能ＬＥＤライトと承知して購入するユーザには良い商品と思います。

The media could not be loaded.  灯りの揺れについては、個人の感じ方によって違うと思うので、動画を参考にしてください。他の方の動画よりは、灯りの揺れが小さいのは、製品の個体差なのかな？☆は、3.5という感じです。

最高輝度にすると、かなり明るく実用的です。息を吹いてON/OFFするのも、思ったより確実で便利です。暗くすると光が揺らぐ機能も、なかなか風情があり良かったです。価格も安く、かなりの優れものと思います。
