Purely for cool value but that's why they're skateboarding in teh first place, eh? I thought the sticky pad would become unstuck pretty quickly - you scrape it along the ground after all - so used the 2 little screws provided, but when I bought another a while later, I tried without and it really sticks!!

I got these for my son who loves to skateboard.  They lasted him quite awhile, even considering how much he uses them.  He liked them so much that when they finally did run out he asked for more for his birthday.

I ordered this for my longboard which I had made a tail for. Assuming you are planning on installing this on wood (which you probably are) it goes on easily enough with the pre-attached two-sided foam tape and included screws. Even during the day, this thing is BRIGHT. The sparks look freaking sweet and I've turned plenty of heads with this thing. The plastic base is durable enough, but it wears out rather quickly. On a regular skateboard, you can probably expect it to last 2-3 weeks of hard wear. Overall, sweet piece. I love it.
