Parts Kit DG261 Replacement for Brinkmann 810-1575-W Gas Grill - Stainless Steel Burner, Carry-Over Tubes, and Heat Plate

Burners fit with minor adjustment. They are 1/2" shorter that the original burners, but I knew that before I purchased them. Just had to make my own rear mounting brackets to make up the difference. The major difficulty was adjusting the air shutter to get the proper flame. Some were adjusted correctly and some were open too far. I found that adjusting the shutter to about 1/4 inch open worked the best. Flame is deep blue and about 3/4" long.

I've been going back and forth between getting a new grill and refurbishing my ~2 year-old Brinkmann 810-4580-S. After failing to find a kit specifically for that model, I decided to go with this one. The crossover tubes and heat tents were consistent with dimensions I thought would work. Worst case would be that those two parts would fit and the burners wouldn't (I had not disassembled the grill to get the dimensions exact for those), but considering the package price, I was willing to risk it. The good news is all three of the components fit! The bad news (and thus the 1-star deduct) was that it took some modification to the parts and the grill itself to get everything installed satisfactorily. The heat tents fit perfectly, so all good there. However, the burners and crossover tubes took some modification to get them just right. The burners: While the length of the burner was fine, the original burners (and their mounting location in the grill) have a bolt-hole that is slightly offset to the left. The replacement tubes' bolt-hole is offset to the right. The fix is not as easy as "then just turn the burner over" because the burners' top-side has gas outlets that would be facing downward while grilling if you turn them over, and I did not like that idea. I got around this by drilling new ~1/4" holes in the grill's mounting location to match the replacement burners' offset. If you do this, be careful to support the bottom of the mount as you are drilling. If your grill is like mine, these will be a bit rusty and you could pretty easily snap one off. The cross-over tubes: Regrettably, I found that the bolt-holes in these did not line up particularly well with the newly-drilled ones (and though I did not test this, I don't think they lined up real well with the originals either). I got around this pretty easily by using tin snips to "slot" the mounting holes out to each end of the bracket. This cost me a trip to the local home improvement store, and about another $15 for a set of their snips, but more tools in the tool bag at the end of the day is not a completely bad thing. This kit's only other notable drawback is that one of the grill's burners is distinctive because it has the ignition attached. This kit has five "standard" burners, so I ended up leaving the original ignition burner in the grill. Additionally, you'll want to get new bolts to replace the ones you'll likely drill out in order to get everything apart in the first place. It just so happens the size you'll need is available in a bagged 5-pack at the local home improvement store (1/4" x 20 x 5/8", I think). If the manufacturer were to slot the crossover mounting holes, drill two offset holes in the end of each burner, include one with an ignition, and include replacement nuts & bolts, this would be a perfect kit. As is, it still beats buying a new grill, and the work required to make the kit work is not too bad.

Flame holes in burner tubes too large. can not get grill to heat up. Drip deflectors worked well

Install was much easier than I expected. My grill was slightly corroded on the supports that hold the connector tubes, so the included screws were a little more loose than I like (no fault of the product or supplier). I bought 5 larger diameter screws at the hardware, and the grill is like new. I did a scrubbing of the grill body with Bar Keepers friend, my go to for stainless steel, and pumiced and oiled the grilling surface, and my neighbor actually thought I had bought the same grill again that I had had for 4 years. Again, quite pleased.

these were to fit my grill and they are all the replacement parts are almost an inch and a half to 2-inch too long for our Grill so now I have a propane grill that I cannot use and replacement burners and stuff that will not work in it

Es perfecto ya que cuenta con orificios de dos lados y no como otros que solo sale flama por el centro. Un muy buen producto. Si lo conecta y no sale bien la flama solo es cosa de ajustar la entrada de aire lo cual es muy sencillo con un destornillador.

Cambie todo lo de mi asador y lo renove quedo como nuevo
