B-67000 12" 100T Carbide-Tipped Max Efficiency Miter Saw Blade

I ordered this a couple of weeks ago but had not yet gotten around to installing it in my miter saw until yesterday. I was cutting a pressure treated 2x8 with my old blade. Even though I was taking it slow, the old blade was producing about as much smoke as sawdust and took at least 10 seconds to make the cut. I installed this new Makita blade and completed the remaining cuts I needed. The Makita blade cut through the board in less than a second with almost no downward pressure. The cut edge was completely smooth. Well worth the cost of a quality blade.

Wow. Super smooth cuts.

We put this blade into service in January of this year and it has seen daily use since then. It has remained sharp over this period and likely would have gone on for another six months or so, except for a new apprentice who cut backer board with it while the rest of us were busy with other tasks. I have to wonder if the heat and sparks gave him pause ... Anyway, ONE STAR for the apprentice who will never hear the end of this, (our fault, really, for not keeping better tabs on him,) and FIVE SOLID STARS for the blade.

I’ve always been a Freud man but I like these Makita blades better. I have this blade on both of my 12” miter saws. Cuts like butter with little to no tearout on the back.

DIY'er... Got this for my Bosch 18V Miter Saw. It makes very smooth cuts and very happy with it. Smooth enough that there is no need to sand after. Not sure what else needs to be said.

Makita saw blades are a great fit into Makita saws. These ones were reasonably priced.

Not bad quality, worth buying.
