PigtronixE2D Echolution 2 Deluxe

Echolution 2 is, hands down the best all analog delay pedal that I could find while researching for several months. I've watched hundreds of videos and read hundreds of reviews and comparisons. Pigtronix not only created a simply amazing delay workstation but it also managed to invent one of the most intuitive user interfaces that I have ever had the pleasure of owning. No menus and sub-menus to scroll through like the Timeline and others in this top shelf arena. You can intuitively figure out the user interface in just minutes and dial in adjustments while playing if need be. I'm blown away by just how much was included in this pedal and I haven't even scratched the surface yet. I have never used a better delay pedal and can honestly say that I've never even heard a better one. I watched a video comparing Echolution 2 to the Flight TIme and it even sounded better than that box... which is no easy task! Pigtronix is quickly becoming my favorite pedal maker. The quality of the gear that I have is astounding and worth every penny. Keep it up guys!

Overall this is a very good pedal. It sounds great and it does appear to be very rugged. On the minus side the software to be honest is just okay. While it does offer full control over the pedal I find the preset management to be lacking. The USB connector is in an odd place and the supplied cable is junk. The other minus is the expression pedal control You can't set a heel or toe limit and it doesn't appear to have a way to control multiple parameters.

Very cool pedal. Takes time to figure out how to use all the features. The manual defines the features but doesn't go nearly into enough detail on how to use them. I haven't downloaded the editor software yet. I bought the remote switch to simplify changing presets. The banks start with preset "0" but when I plug in the remote switch it starts at preset 1. I don't get it.

I bought this to use with a Moog synth and together they make a great pair. Not only does it make some great stereo delays, choruses and effects from the mono synth, but it also can further shape the tone, becoming an extension of the synth It is very easy to program and has SO many different combinations that I'll probably never use its full capability. The MIDI functionality, including programming and MIDI-timed delay, are especially useful for my musical interests.

This is the Cat's meow, I have not even broke the skin as to its capabilities but from what I have experimented I am pleased with the outcome, it is by far the best I have seen outside of my Strymon and Eventide it rates number 1 in its class.

I LOVE this delay. I'm sad, however, to report that while the programming function is wonderful, the micro USB input plug is so cheaply installed that after using it (carefully and gently) five times, the socket came loose inside the unit. I opened it up and removed the cheaply glued part. Luckily the delay still works, but no more programming or firmware updates. No reason to spend all the money... :-(

For a long time I was so bored with delay sounds. It seems the world has gone mad searching for some pristine unattainable delay tone. The result is an endless line of studio quality delay in a stomp box. And while the Echolution can offer that, it also has a TON of other features that make it stand out in a sea of otherwise sterile and a little too... just not for me I suppose, delays.I use a lot of pedals, I have for years. And I have become a top notch "pedal dancer". You know, that moment when you need to turn off a phaser a delay and a distortion all at the same time? This guy makes that whole scene more like a walk in the park. It really is like having several effects in one box. You step on this pedal, and you step into deep space bliss! The added options with the foot switch and the expression pedal take it to a whole other place, as well.I didn't buy this pedal from this seller, so I can't say much about them... But no one has left a review for this and I needed to put out there how happy I am that this pedal exists! It can do all that stuff the other delays do, and oh so much more! Don't just think outside the box, light the box on fire!
