Strange and Schafermeyer's Pediatric Emergency Medicine (Strange, Pediatric Emergency Medicine) 4th Edition

I’m a paramedic, not an MD, so some of this material is above my pay grade. This is an excellent resource for expanding one’s knowledge of prehospital pediatric care, even though the primary focus is upon emergency room medicine. It is clearly and concisely written, and the medical science in this edition is very much up-to-date. I have found it to be very deserving of a place on my bookshelf and have no hesitation in recommending it to other practicioners of emergency medicine.

I like this book. Wanted a sraightforward up to date resource to improve my pediatric ER knowledge base that I could have access to on iPad. Many of the new resources still do not! Anyways, so far happy with it (though I still dislike RSV and febrile neonate work ups). It would be nice if the authors could add some basic procedural stuff (vascular access in critical pediatric cases) but I have yet to find a decent pediatric book. Guess that's what my Dr. Hedges reference is for.
