Better build and finish quality than the other commercial bed slides. FYI, the actual dimensions of this unit are different from specs. I ordered the 15-7348-CG - the dimensions of the platform itself ar 48.25x70", and the height of the platform is 5". this may make a difference for you, and in a tight fitting application the manufacturers specs should not be trusted.Overall I'm happy with the slide. Fit and finish is leaps ahead of Carg_glide, their biggest competitor. A unit I examined from SlideMaster looked nicer, and has custom options, but there is a 4-6 week wait. The Bedslide has all the options straight from the factory, and Amazon delivery was fee and only too 3 days! My biggest gripes are these:Poor instructions, with references to bolts and slots that do not exist on the unit delivered.When fully extended, the slide tilts upward rather dramatically. It lays flat for most of the extension, but then tilts up in the last few inches. They do not mention this in any literature, however a video posted on Bedslide's website says this is an adjustable feature to allow clearance over some high tailgates. I can't find any instructions on how to adjust this, and the roller that does the lifting appears to be welded in place - sure doesn't look adjustable to me.1500 LBS is complete BS. It's well made and heavy duty for sure, but you aren't safely loading 1500 LBS on this. there is dramatic flex in the base when an 250 LB adult climbs onto the end while it's extended. I realize this is an uneven distribution, but when you realize this is held into your bed with four 5/16" bolts and suzy homemaker grade consumer nutserts - $0.60 of hardware - you'll think twice about putting those heavy loads in it.

I just recieved my bedslide 1500 pro cg and I have installed it. I must say it fits the bed perfectly and looks good but that is where it stops for me. The last reviewer has stated a lot of the same concerns but unfortunately I have more. Poor latching design, sloppy side to side movement. The instructions say there is an adjustable cam to enable you to adjust the deck so it can slide over the tailgate. Mine are welded in place. So much for adjustment but when the slide is fully extended it kicks the slide up in the air. Looks stupid and it's not required.The side rails are cheep. They show they have three locations to secure them however poor design only gives you two locations to secure so they are flimsy. The holes they pre drill for you and bolt kit they provided for installing them cause you problem because if you install as the instructions tell you the slide won't open. I quess I could modify myself but why.That said i plan on returning it, I would prefer going without and having my money back because for $1200 there should get more quality. Don't let anyone tell you different.I'm confident the company feels they're putting out a quality product but I respectfully disagree.

I have used this bed slide more than I would have ever imagined. Having a camper shell, this makes life much easier. One of our trucks at work has the 1000 LB model. While it does a good job, there is no comparison with this 1500 model. Much sturdier. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quality bed slide.

the bed rakes up at a step angle, so at the end if its travel its about 6-8" higher than level. We stood two 200# guys at the end and the deflection wasn't very much, realistically who's going to put 1500# on this when it has to be under a topper anyway. Called the factory asking why the picture looks so great, and no rise on the platform, they said read the fine print under each pic, ie.. this isn't what it really looks likeI was really looking forward to this, but I'm not a repeat buyer that's for sure. I'm going to try it, but probably sell it in 6 mos on ebay

I just installed my third bedslide and i am sure i will love it just as well as the others. In my two previous trucks i had the regular carpet style bedslides (1200 pound capacity) and they worked like a charm. I opted for the 1500 pound capacity this time and it seems to be very heavy duty. I like the new pull handle and side walls versus the twist styles and no sidewalls on the older ones.
