HerbaZest Sacha Inchi Seeds, 1 lb – USDA Organic, Vegan & Protein-Rich

Some people call them seeds, some people call them nuts. Well all nuts are seeds. They are very crunchy, they don’t have a flavour really. However, they are full of protein, and my body really likes them for an energy boost. It was the ancient Inca race that cultivated these. I love them and the recipes the company provided look great too. But I eat these as they are.

The order arrived a day early, the sacha inchi, golden berries, and amaranth crispies all were vacuum packed, very fresh and delicious! Sorry I didn't get the bigger sizes, but will next time. The golden errires were tender, not hard at all. I am a repeat customer and will remain one. I found out that the sacha inchi seeds are served as bar snacks in restaurants in S. America. I had a minor issue and the Herbazest customer service reached out and solved it promptly.

These taste more like legumes than they do seeds or nuts. They are not creamy, fatty or smooth but are more dry, incredibly, incredibly dry. I didn’t attempt to soak them as no one in our household enjoyed them that much. Instead, I gave them to a friend who said she craved them after trying them & wished to purchase some in an effort to fulfill whatever nutrients her body needed & was craving from these.

Seeds are a nice size and quality. They just need a little salt.

In brief, these seeds are both healthy and delicious. No complains, I enjoy this crunchy, nut-like seed with it's own appealing flavor. If you never try it, you will never know what you are missing out on.

Very unique healthy nutty snack from special area.

I bought this item a few weeks ago and it was delivered 8 days ago. I saw that the seeds were vacuum packed and I didn't open right away. I decided to open the package today for a snack, but the seeds taste old and stale (rancid). Even though the package is vacuum sealed, the seeds taste like they've been sitting in an open container for a long time. That probably happened before they were packed in this little bag. If you ever didn't seal a package of food well (nuts, cereal, chips), they taste old and rancid from being exposed to air. I tried to get a refund but I cannot get a refund or return 8 days after it was delivered. I don't have time to read Amazon's long return policy, so I guess that's $17.xx down the drain. Do not recommend these. I've bought from two other vendors (seeds from Peru and Southeast Asia) and they did not taste like this at all.
