So first off I purchased the 8 books from “Books from Norfolk”, through amazon and they came in perfect condition so I would recommend buying from them if they still have stock. As for the books, they’re great! Both the games and the tv series had my interest piqued but I was a bit apprehensive as sometimes translating text between languages can Rob it of it’s charm, that’s not the case here! The writing is wonderful and descriptive, the stories and characters are compelling and the world it all happens in is both fantastical and believable! It’s a very interesting take on the fantasy genre as well, it almost steps into fairy tale territory at times, which only serves to elevate these books above their peers. Highly recommend!
