Since the material isn't solid, is it safe to carry a chambered gun in one of these? Thanks in advance

I made sure to get the correct size (looked on skickyholster website) and so the material is a nice snug fit. This keeps the trigger covered and so is as safe as any holster that uses the same method for safety. No matter what holster I use, I require dual safety mechanisms on my pistols. for examples see 1911's, Springfield XD series, etc... This allows me to remove the pressure from the grip safety when holstering so there is no risk of accidental discharge if the trigger gets caught while re holstering.

Which holster is good for a FN 509c tactical?

They have a "Find your gun" tool on the manufacturer's website. I recommend checking there first prior to making your purchase.

The LC 9 with a LaserMax will fit, but the LG-6S is about an inch too long, i.e. there is about an inch between the barrel and the bottom of the holster. The Sticky MD-2 is a better fit, just about perfect.
