Delivery was prompt. The little black pillow that comes with it is very cute. Before using it, I reviewed the washing instructions and gave it a gentle wash in cold water and tumble dry on delicate. When I pulled it from the dryer, I found that one of the seams on the comforter was failing. It's pulling apart all along one of the long sides (see photos). It isn't the stitching, as much as it is a too tiny seam allowance for the polyester, which frays easily. Clearly, the construction didn't take into account the type of fabric used. I'm going to have to spend time hand-stitching the gaps closed for now, then come up with a creative edging sewing fix before the next washing. I just went through a challenging return on a completely unrelated product purchased through an Amazon third-party, and am not about to pack & ship yet another purchase back to the seller and start all over.Nice looking comforter, but the workmanship sucks. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Happy with purchase *by K***. on Reviewed in the United States on March 11, 2016* I really like this comforter for my teen's bedroom. I saw some of the reviews show this as poorly made but mine seems to be fine. I did have to cut off quite a few strings but now it looks really nice. Have not washed it yet but so far so good. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars Poor quality *by S***N on Reviewed in the United States on October 29, 2015* I guess I should've paid more attention, there were no bed sheets with it. Just the comforter which tore in two places within the first week of use. Bought for my daughter's room. At the price this cost I could've gotten a better quality comforter at target and it would've come with the sheet set. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/14683959-geneva-home-fashion-4-piece-hotel-juvenile-reversible-polka-dot](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/14683959-geneva-home-fashion-4-piece-hotel-juvenile-reversible-polka-dot) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-31*
