Great for crafts! *by T***I on Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2020* Both the quality of the materials and construction, along with the lights themselves are very good. This a great base for a craft involving initials, or something along those lines. Easy to decorate and lights up nicely. Not much else to say. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Really special lighted letter! *by J***R on Reviewed in the United States on December 31, 2016* This was a HIT with my granddaughter, whose first & last names start with M. I assembled it before wrapping it, and the whole family agreed it was a precious gift. It is NOT sturdy enough to be handled much, but it looks great on the shelf. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Fun lighting *by S***E on Reviewed in the United States on January 27, 2017* This is a metal letter, with an additional carboard letter in the middle. The instructions give different ideas and styles that the letter can be decorated or painted... Or you can leave it plain white. The letter comes with glass bulbs that must be inserted into each hole, and then you thread included string lights through. The instructions included are straightforward, and this is all a simple and fairly quick task. It is battery operated. I just wish there was a timer option on the battery pack.Just a tip::: I spray painted mine a matte navy blue (I used rustoleum spray paint) on one side ( in case I wanted to repaint, so it didn't get too many coats on each front). The color I chose is nice when not lit, but when lit, the letter appears too dark-almost black from having been painted navy. When I get around to it, I will be re-painting it a lighter color. I suppose it depends on your decor and tastes, but just a tip that dark colors appear black with the marquee lighting on, and this was not something I had considered. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/14678937-american-crafts-369092-heidi-swapp-marquee-love-8-inch-marquee](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/14678937-american-crafts-369092-heidi-swapp-marquee-love-8-inch-marquee) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
