Hansel and Gretel (Flip-Up Fairy Tales)

This book is so cute - my 4 year old loves it. She also loves that it comes with a CD that she can play to follow along with the story. My only complaint is that the illustrations are coarse - but having seen the cover, I knew this when I bought it. The bad illustration hasn't dampened my daughter's interest in the book, and that's all that matters to me.

Love all these flip up books. Beautiful illustrations and engaging voices on the cd for kids to listen to. Love that they are British too. My five year old daughter wants one of her flip up books each night for bed.

My grandson enjoyed this story and I like the price at under $7!

Just ok.

I purchased this for my daughter's baby shower as we were having everyone bring a book for the baby's library. I liked the fact that this one comes with a CD of the story.

My daughter loves these flip-up books. The stories are longer in length, too. This story is pretty true to the original fairy tale, so it may be a little scary for some toddlers. I haven't really used the CD's yet, but I'm sure they will come in handy during our next road trip.

Just right!

This is another addition to a fine collection of lift the flap books. The children I work with all loved the story and it lead to lots of discussion about what sort of things we would put on our own gingerbread house. This is a lovely traditional story. The pictures are clear and bright and the text is just the right length. I have the other books in this series and will probably buy any new ones that come out. I would recommend this product.

This story is very suitable for young children. It uses some of the traditional story but adds its own little twist. I bought this to use for my class but I was rather disappointed the old lady locks Hansel in a shed outside rather than a cage. This is a good book to show children how stories can be retold differently. The book is a good story but I was slightly disappointed it wasn't the traditional story.

Personally I would not recommend this book. As soon as I touched one of the smallest flaps it fell off. In some of the reviews it also says the book comes with a cd which it doesn’t.Might do for an individual who is very careful.

Granddaughter loves it

Beautiful illustrations and flaps. Great for four, five and six year old children.
