Not the best solution but works in slight wind
Not the best solution. I used these on my proshade umbrella and stands from Costco and they seem to work okay in light wind as long as you arenโt moving the umbrella to alternate locations. When you move the umbrella and stand the umbrella easily comes out with the cone. It seems the only thing really keeping the umbrella from spinning is the force of the stand screws pushing the cone against the opposite side of the shaft, but even still this forces the whole cone up out of the base. The next solution will be just to drill holes in the umbrella pole and screw the stand screws through for guaranteed no spinning. Donโt waste your money.

Great product.
Ordered to use with patio umbrella. Although it is the right size, I could NOT get it to go on the steel pipe. Tried wetting it - - Nope; didn't work. Then got the bright idea to try oil. I didn't want 3-in-One because I was concerned it might damage it, so I tried cooking oil - - Worked like a charm. I now have my Patio umbrella just like I want it. Very satisfied.

PERFECT!!
I used on a 40 lb umbrella base for my 9 ft umbrella. I first used my rubber mallet to place the cone in the base stand, then used WD-40 on inside of the cone as well as on the end section of the umbrella poll that would be inserted through it. It absolutely could not work any better!!!

This WORKS!
These completely work...our umbrella was thinner than the stand/holder. Since we had the 2-pack, we put one in the stand and slid the umbrella in, it immediately stabilized the umbrella. The second one, we put in the table, and it is perfectly straight. I don't think it is intended for the stand, but it completely works!

Only 37 mm ID
Using my digital calipers, I measured the items (both) IDs to be 37.0 mm, which made it impossible to slide them onto my 38.0 mm umbrella pole, even using lubricant. I finally had to slice open longitudinally one side of each of them; that made assembly not only possible but easy. It did require about a half hour of hard work with several knives, after the first half hour of trying to slide the damn things onto the umbrella pole.

Able to cut to size
Originally thought too big, but just took hack saw and cut a few lines down. Perfect fit in picnic table hole!

Itโs what I was looking for to stabilize umbrellas around the pool.
We get windy here in AZ sometimes and get occasional microbursts. I bought these to keep the pool umbrellas from lifting out of the stands, and they work. Unfortunately, it didn't work on the table in the pool, too thick.
