Soothing Touch Unscented Jojoba Massage Lotion, 1/2 Gallon

I have been using another brand of lotion, but have been frustrated with it, too watery. I work part time at a day spa that uses this brand (the lavender one though which is not strongly scented) and found it is very good for a lotion. I do mostly myofascial and deep tissue work but sometimes find I need to do a little traditional massage first. This lotion is readily absorbed and allows me the traction I need for the deeper & the fascial work within a moment or two. I have another brand of cream I use which is very emiolient and heavy so I use that when I want that knd of feel but when I need a lighter product this lotion is one of the best I've found.

Best lotion for professional massages

I've been carrying on the tradition of buying my sister Jojoba lotion since our mother passed away. It was something we always looked forward to. Your skin soaks up the lotion without feeling greasy. I've added my own essential oils to make different scents. Great buy, great shipping (free with Amazon prime) and an excellent product! Will be buying more! The cost is amazing too! A deal that I couldn't pass up!

Glides well on skin, and keeps the glide for a good enough amount of time without getting tacky or needing much more.

Soothing Touch massage lotion has been the best manual applicant for my clients for about 3 decades. It’s unique texture and absorption factor make for easy gliding for deep tissue massage. It stays on the surface of the body region long enough to complete sequence without reapplication.

I absolutely LOVE this lotion for massage!!! I added some essential oils to give it a scent I enjoy. It's still good!! Edited 3/2016. I use this just for myself and my husband. In other words we don't use it as much as a massage therapist would. I purchased in 2011...just pulled this back out if my closet after forgetting about it for aprox a year...can't believe it but it's still good, smells great with addition of grapefruit or lavender essential oil ( I refill an 8 oz bottle and just add my oil each refill vs the large container, shake it up and it mixes together just fine this way. It's got a perfect consistently to massage without pulling skin or hair (hubby's legs). Will buy again!!!!!

Excellent lotion. I usually have to add oil to my massage lotion to get a good glide, but this stuff is smooth as can be and doesn’t absorb too quickly. I’ve tried many brands and this one is my new favorite 😊

I like that it was cheaper, but clients not liking it. I am Deep tissue massage therapist of 12 years, Never too picky on lotion but wish I could have returned it. It’s terrible for deep tissue or relaxation.
