Problem solevd!
I just bought a used motor that had new trim caps on it so I thought it would be one less thing to worry about...Wrong! They were leaking like crazy.. They looked just like cheaper ones sold here on amazon. I'm pretty sure that the owner sold the motor because of the trim (you could tell the lower sat in the water for an extended period of time) After reading reviews of for the cheaper ones, many people had the same issue. These went right in a worked great!
