A Great Shoe for Youth Wrestlers
Don't worry about the little kids vs big kids sizing. If your kid wears a 2 a big kids 2 will fit like their other shoes do. I don't know why they do that its unnecessarily confusing. Fit was as expected, though they are a bit narrow (not an issue for my son, but if you kid has wide feet bear that in mind). Quality is standard ASICS that I've come to expect having had three or four pairs of ASICS wrestling shoes over the years. They hold up and don't wear out. You definitely want to get your kid shoes, even if they are just starting. Most organizations won't let them wrestle barefoot and socks on a wrestling mat is a good way to slip and get hurt. These arrived super fast too. They were a bit on the pricey side, compared to most kids footwear, but most kids footwear is junk if we're being honest, so you tend to get what you pay for. All in a nice set of shoes for your future state champ!

Great wrestling shoes especially for young wrestlers
Great shoes, a light narrow but that makes them perfect for wrestling. My son wore them 5 days a week for a full season and they held up great!

My son loves these
My son started wrestling in November of 2022 for JV and Varsity. I bought him ASICS Men's Matflex 6 Wrestling Shoes. Those definitely did the job and were under 60 bucks. However at one of the weekend jv events I noticed they were getting worn out, because he practiced in them also. So I decided to let him pick out shoes. It came down to all blue Rudis, These, and a similar color scheme from Scraplife ($180). He went with these and he loves them. He lost his first match with them against an experienced varsity guy, but he said he felt a difference with his feet and the grip. He wore them for the second time at JV counties and came in 4th and made the podium. Only negative is while they look cool they are white (he wanted white) and you notice the dirt faster. I told him to use his matflex for practice. Nice shoes. Also unlike the Asics Matflex we didn't have to go up a half size. My son wears a 10.5 in normal shoes and he got these in 10.5.

Perfect Fit, Durable, and Versatile
The ASICS Kid's Matflex 6 Wrestling Shoes have been an excellent choice for my daughter! The fit is perfect snug but comfortable and they provide great support for her feet during wrestling practice and tournaments. She trains year-round, and these shoes have held up incredibly well. They’re not only durable but also flexible, allowing her to move freely and comfortably. What’s even better is that she also uses them for her Kung Fu training, and they work just as well for that. The grip and stability are top-notch, and I love how versatile they are. Highly recommend these shoes for any young athlete, whether they’re into wrestling or other martial arts!

Pretty Damn Great
Comfortable, padded, grippy, ankle support yet still flexible, laces stretch a little which makes it a little harder to tie them properly but it creates a more securer fit The shoe has a natural arc so when first wearing them your heel will feel lower to the ground compared to other wrestling shoes but after a couple days you don't notice it They clean well, I wrestle 5 days a week 3 hours at a time and after wearing them for a month they got pretty dirty but it was unnoticeable since they're black and gold but when putting them in the washer they looked brand new The two piece sole allows for a lot more range of motion compared to most other shoes Overall great wrestling shoe

Best Wrestling Shoe I have Bought!
This wrestling shoe was exactly what we where looking for! I bought a pair for my size 13 freshman in high school, and he has fallen in love. They fit perfect and are true to size, light weight but still gives him plenty of grip. So three weeks later, I bought another pair for my 7th grade son and very competitive in wrestling. He too has fallen in love with these. Well made, comfortable and fit true to size for both. They have completely different shapes and sizes of feet, so that says something! lol

Paler color, nice design, good performance.
Appearance: Look really cool for it's design. The color is a little bit paler than in the pic, more of diluted red than bright red. Fit: I once wore Nike hypersweep size 11 us (my usual size is 10) and it bite my 5th toe as fook. So I purchase size 11.5 of this Asic and it fit painless, but leaves a space nearly 1 cm in my heal. Gripping: Nice, I didn't wrestle, I use it for deadlift and it works fine.

Mega leichte Schuhe, für Leute die eine sehr gute Beinarbeit haben sind diese Schuhe ideal. Sie sind sehr leicht und rutschfest. Außerdem ist das Sprunggelenk sehr geschützt. “Wettkampftauglich”

I have wide feet these seem to be a little more forgiving in width than other brands tend to be. These are the best pair of wrestling boots I've ever worn brilliant on the mats
