Seymour Duncan Hot Rodded Humbucker - Set - Black

Love these Humbuckers. They have the sweetest tone. Really woke my Big Lou up and made it sound so good. Fixed the horrible feedback from the old humbuckers too. Very well made and packaged extremely well.

This came from Sweetwater, but they take way longer to deliver through their own site somehow. At any rate, I have these pickups in another guitar and they’re very different in this one. It’s become my number one thing right now. Great quality. The tone is so variable it’s totally different guitar with my swapping out of capacitors on the tone pots.

Bought these to make my kit guitar sound better - I probably should learn to play better as well. These are Duncan’s - they rock and work well.

Very happy with the tone from these

I had a Schecter C-1 with EMG X Series active pickups. I decided to put passive pickups and sold the EMGs on Ebay. For $130 you can't go wrong. All I had to do was install a mono jack and I used copper foil tape because the guitar did not have a hole for the ground that goes to the bridge. So I just took the ground wire and soldered it to some copper foil in the battery compartment. I don't have the luxury of turning an amp loud cause I live in an apartment, but I can assure you the sustain is pretty good. These pickups are good for metal and probably heavy blues. But like any high output pickups you can coil tap these or turn down the volume and play some very nice clean tones. Also what I noticed was that pickups that are not covered with a plate have a better sound. I hear more clarity. I simply never buy plated pickups, they cost more and I like the picking sound of my pick when it hits the strings. As I said earlier I have to play at lower volumes in my apartment. Glad I bought these. And remember you cannot judge Seymour Duncan pickups by just one kind, they all have there own outputs. So make sure you really check them out so you don't get disappointed. I had a Schecter Solo 6 with the Seymour Duncan SH-11 and '59. they were alright pickups but they did not have the output and clarity that these pickups have. Also they were plated. So be sure to check out how each pickup works and don't judge one set if you have not heard any of the others, common sense.

Can't find words able to express how please I am with this purchase. Hard to find affordable prices for such expensive pickups and this seller gave me the opportunity of a great deal. They were installed and soldered immediately and work amazing with push and pull pots. Thank you Alto Music!!

I love these pickups. They can get various sounds and were very easy to install. I think they are worth there price and then some.

Sounds terrific. The best improvement I have done to my guitar. This combination is perfect for many playing styles and music genres. I got enough output for metal and the cleans sounds amazing.

Upgrade epico sulla mia PRS SE Custom 24! Ho sostituito i vecchi PRS 85/15 ‘S’ con questo set Seymour Duncan Hot Rodded (JB al ponte e Jazz al manico) e la differenza è abissale. La chitarra è diventata molto più viva: il suono è ora molto più presente e conferisce una nitidezza incredibile, mentre gli 85/15 ‘S’ precedenti non erano per niente nitidi e impastavano il suono. Consigliatissimi per chi vuole trasformare una Prs SE in una bestia!

J'ai monté le set Seymour Duncan Hot Rodded sur une SQUIER Stratocaster Contemporary Black Metallic. Le humbucker Jazz NECK est lumineux en son clair. Il crunche parfaitement en overdrive blues. Le Humbucker Jeff Beck BRIDGE est puissant en son clair. Il regorge de sustain et d'harmoniques en overdrive. Super set pour le Blues et le Rock. Je suis ravi de mon achat en promo sur Amazon. RV

Ich habe erst an einen Preisfehler gedacht, als ich dieses Set hier für 98 Euro sah. Bin zufrieden gewesen mit den Wilkinsons - bisher! Dieses Set ist zu recht eines der meistverkauften Humbucker Sets, da es möglich ist von Slow Blues über Country, Rock und Hardrock alles abzudecken. Mit dem jetzigen Wissen würde ich auch die derzeit aufgerufenen 169 Euro beim Fachhandel bezahlen. Wobei die 98 Euro bei Amazon schon ein No-Brainer waren. Ich werde jetzt wohl mal öfter bei Amazon stöbern wenn es um Musikinstrumente geht.
