This is a wonderful cup. It is light as a feather, yet you are able to microwave it. It holds more than 10 ounces, and so you have a really delightful number of sips. The large handle is so comfortable to lift, and the coffee remains hot. Best of all, an unusual feature...you will probably find this cup no matter where you may set it down in your home or office since the red shade stands out incredibly well. It's a great addition to your serving pieces.

The plastic is well produced and the mug itself is well manufactured. It is pretty light but it is still comfortable to grab. As others have mentioned it is on the smaller side but I do not think it is tiny or children's sized, rather anybody at any age could enjoy this mug. I think all these people complaining didn't even bother to grab a ruler and estimate its size, which is unsurprising. In my experience my tea stays hot over 20 minutes after I pour the boiling water into the mug. I havent done an exact measure but I think its a great amount of time considering its just a plastic mug. Overall I like the color a lot, I enjoy using rhe mug as well. I think its well designed and well made and could be used in a variety of places like at home or at the campsite. I Highly Recommended it.

Purchased for daughter off to college. Good size for steeping tea in 6 to 8oz of water. Cup didn't get hot and water heated up nicely. Hopefully it will last the school year.

It's smaller than the claimed 12 oz, but for my purposes that's ok. I only wanted a plastic coffee mug to hold my standard 8 oz of java, and it's perfect for that. It actually holds 10 oz to the brim, and 8 oz comfortably. The attached photo shows it with 8 oz of coffee, and exactly 8 oz of water in the ceramic coffee mug it's replacing. The Japanese writing on the bottom doesn't help me determine the material, but it appears to be polypropylene which is recyclable #5 in America. I've reheated it in the microwave and washed it in both the upper and lower racks of the dishwasher without any ill effects. The wall of the cup is sufficiently thick to be unbreakable, only slightly compressible at the top. It's inside is polished, and the outside is a smooth matte finish. The handle loop comfortably accommodates 3 adult male fingers. It's exactly what I was looking for to replace my ceramic mugs, which radiate away heat too quickly. Highly recommended if the size is ok for you.

Yes, it holds 11.9 liquid ounces to the very top. Just received it for bathroom use. I am pleased with it.

I should’ve read the description more thoroughly. The cup is lightweight and microwavable however, it’s a little on the small side.
