It feels substantial and is versatile, fitting many different lenses. I have used mine with Nikon's 80 - 400 zoom as well as the much longer Nikon 500mm F4.0 tele. There are enough straps to control the fit even as you shoot shorter tele lenses. Like all rain gear, it does make the camera somewhat less accessible, but not so much that I ever took it off. The Raincoat was large enough to cover my Wimberley Sidekick gimbal mount as well as the long lenses. An hour after arriving at the photo location it started to drizzle so I put the raincoat onto my lens. Being the first time I used it I was surprised at how easy it was to put on. Good thing I did as the rain only got heavier over the next hour or two. My lens and camera stayed bone dry which was why I got it in the first place. For the price, it's very cheap insurance to keep your gear dry. I took it off later that morning and put it over the seat in my rental car....it dried very quickly which impressed me.
