Business Ethics and Ethical Business 1st Edition

For College Class. Great book

Decent book, did not like my class that I had to have it for though

The chapters are an easy read and take little time. There is no fluff, and most chapters are 7 to 10 pages, which make it easy to find the info for needed assignments. Easily portable compared to most bloated textbooks.

My guess is that if you're purchasing this book you need it for a college course and don't have much choice in the matter. I found it exceeding dry and difficult. If you're a professor developing a course and are looking for a textbook, do your students a favor and keep looking. Every student in the course I took hated this book.

This book is WAY too complicated for any normal human being. I only got htis because of a Business Ethics course I'm taing for college.

Audi is a philosopher I respect a great deal, particularly for his ability to write clearly and cogently. Business ethics is a bit outside his usual field, but he does a very capable job of glossing the major issues. I use this book because it is very affordable and easy to read for undergrads with no background in philosophy, but I must admit that I have two (somewhat minor) complaints with it as a text: one, Audi doesn't critically engage with the logic of markets at all (which I think is relevant to business ethics); and two, his treatment of each given subject is quick almost to the point of being breezy. This book works fine as a core text for a Bus Eth class, but it will require some work from the instructor to expand on the material.

I bought a book that said was in good condition but it really wasnt. When i got the book it fell apart into 3 pieces. I shouldve bought from someone else. You guys should give right description about your books how it is falling apart and has plenty penmarks inside, instead of saying in very good condition few marks... I am really disappointed!
