Browne 36" Wood Handled Oven Brush w/ Scraper

Item is very sturdy - ordered it to use for a wood burning oven and it worked well. The bristles were fire resistant and so was he handle. The bristles were on the stiffer side so it wasn't perfect for pushing oven ash around.

This is not a reflection of a misleading product description. I have a new outdoor wood/gas fired pizza oven and have a horsehair brush to clean the ash/embers during and after pizza cooking. I thought I'd try this brush and was excited to compare the two. Unfortunately, after a couple of uses, I'm not a fan of the brass wire bristles. There are some that may prefer those, but I have a scraper and prefer to brush with horsehair so don't need a two-in-one item.

Was a gift for a friend and he says it works well for his wood burning pizza oven.

Works great and the price was right.

We built our own cob clay bake oven in the back garden. This was EXACTLY what we needed for sweeping it out for cooking and after! Perfect!

The scraper gets the big pieces of burned wood out of the oven easily and the brush does a good job of cleaning the floor.

Great for my brick oven cleaning and rearranging coals to place the pizza in the hot spot for cooking. Perfect tool!

So needed and useful. Love it. Perfect size for our pizza oven. Light.
