So discover reptiles was not a one off. In my opinion Apes was even better – mainly because there were no pictures of snakes in it! Same formula, great pictures, interesting information all well put together. Kids loved it.

Interesting information that young readers can follow and learn. I was very pleased with the included information and how easily understood by my 7 and 8 year old grandchildren. I even enjoyed it.

The pics are wonderful and the text is engaging. My daughter really enjoyed learning how to tell the difference between apes and monkeys.

This book was awesome! Please read this book. I learned a whole lot and thought the pictures were very funny.

As with the others in the 'Discover' series this book is very educational ( I learned several things I didn't know) and presents the information in an attractive and helpful way with clearly written text and lovely pictures.I liked the chatty, informal style with questions being asked and then answered.I think this could work well for children from maybe 4/5 upwards with the youngest ones enjoying the pictures and the older ones reading it either with an adult or for themselves. Certainly my grandchildren of various ages have been captivated by it as they have with the others in the series.

So many of these animal ebooks feel as though they have been rushed out, without any thought or attention to detail. We have bought a few of the Discover titles from Rose Alden and they are all well considered, beautifully presented and full of interesting information. Really great to see!

the books in this series are both very informative and clear but also colourful and entertaining.I discovered a few things I didn't know and my grandson was fascinated. A great way to introduce children to the world of nature.He is looking forward to the next one in the series
