Best Ever Running Skort!!!!
I love, love, love these skorts, so much that I own three and just purchased a fourth!I started running three years ago, and have never been thrilled with my body type. Most products for running are so short and or tight, I never felt comfortable in running clothes, until I met the Happy Girl Skirt by Skirt Sports. I wear these exclusively during warm weather runs. The skirt is long, and the compression shorts under stay put. I never get too hot, and have never had a problem with chafing in these skorts. I feel well covered, but athletic and feminine. At my last race, I had multiple women compliment the skort and comment on how easy it looked to run in - I took 3rd in my age division, so it obviously didn't slow me down! This is a well made product. I have owned my three skorts for two years, and wear them 3-4 times per week from April to October and they still look brand new. I have run 200+ mile relays in this skort and am currently training for a half marathon. The Happy Girl skort goes the distance!!!They are pricey, but look for deals, they come up fairly often. Besides, a pair of running shoes costs more, and won't last you nealy as long. Once you buy one Happy Girl Skirt, you will be hooked; I know I am.

Perfect fit and doesn't ride up
This skort exceeds my expectations. I've had a really hard time finding a fitness skort that doesn't ride up, resulting in constant adjustments and/or chaffing. This one doesn't ride up AT ALL, which is pretty amazing really, considering my curvy shape. I've worn it on a 10-mile hike, and it was comfortable the whole time. Also, it dries quickly if you're perspiring heavily (as is usually the case hiking in the summer) and then stop for a break.A couple of reviewers mentioned that the waistband is a little wonky, and it's true that it's not a defined waistband like most skirts have -- the outer skirt fabric simply hangs down over the shorts, which have a thin elastic waistband -- but I don't find this to be problematic at all, and in fact, I think it makes the skirt fit better, because it drapes more easily and doesn't constrict your midsection, give you a muffin top, etc.In summary, if you're looking for a high-performance athletic skirt that will not ride up, looks very flattering, and that you'll want to wear everyday, this is the one.

the best swim skirt/athletic skirt with attached shorts on the market--I've tried them all
I have 3 of these and would have more if they weren't as pricey as they are. (But the price doesn't deserve to be lowered, because of how perfectly these are designed and how well they fit. This is one of the best clothing items I've ever purchased--so well thought-out and extremely flattering for the active woman. Truly high-quality with no strings attached.) I tried all kinds of options all over the internet for a swim-skirt. I settled on this because of the combination of flattering fit and practicality, even preferring it over skirts specifically designed as swim-skirts by other companies (thus the 3 colors, to go with my various tankini tops). But these can also be worn for exercising or for every-day wear (if you're ok with the shorter length--I am because of the attached modest shorts). I even wore the black one with a nice blouse and skinny metal belt for a dressy casual look--these definitely go way beyond just athletic activities! The attached under-shorts have some compression and smooth you out so you look trim under the skirt. The one complaint I have is that for most colors, the shorts are black and therefore very visible should the skirt flip up at all. I really appreciate the (2?) colors that come with a matching short (e.g., the "surf" color). So if I could suggest one improvement, I'd ask that the shorts always be made with a material that matches the skirt fabric. For reference, I'm 5' 3", 124 lbs., 38" hip, and a S is absolutely perfect for me.

another great skirt
LOVE their product. Right length...so I can walk/jog without revealing everything. My only negative thought is that the legs are a little slimmer, but they do stay down in place and protect against chafing....I'm 5'6", 135 (usually about a size 6 for pants) and the medium fits snugly but well. Skirt has room to swing and is comfortable. I think I like the side pockets on the leggings the best. Great for stashing an ID, change, key, or smaller phone. My new iPhone doesn't slide in as well as my old flip phone....but small price to pay. Love it. It's my 5th skort product from them of varying lengths and I like this length the best because I can go pick up the kids and not worry about any questions of modesty! Colors on this one are vibrant and give you options to wear some different tops...thanks. So glad to not be in black!

Best skort I've found
I absolutely love this skort. I don't write reviews often because everything I own comes from Amazon, I would never get anything done if I review every item I buy! I bought one of these years ago and it is my favourite skort. I am thrilled to find that it still exists so just bought two more, thank you thank you! If you like a bit of femininity when you're working out, running or walking, I implore you to buy this. I have tried bundles of different ones. I do yoga, walk up hills, do Jillian Michaels' dvds, and all sorts of other things and am always comfortable. The shorts underneath stay put, I do not have to constantly pull them down. And the length is just right, not so short that I'm showing off more than I'd like, and not so long that I feel like the Catholic schoolgirl I was. There are two pockets in the shorts at the front and a zipper pocket on the back right. Oh, I wear a 4-6 in skirts and trousers, I bought a medium and it is perfect. Hope that helps.
