I am the kind of person that likes a laptop for mobility. I'm not stuck in one room where the computer is I can take it with me. Also, I am a gamer which means I can't have the laptop sitting just anywhere - I need it on a solid, comfortable surface that offers stability and airflow...this desk hit the nail on the head for my personal ideal desk needs. Here is my pro and con list of it all.Pros :- LOVE that it's ultra lightweight- It is the perfect size for my Toshiba Satellite , haven't tried it with the thicker dell but for the Toshiba it's just great- I have a larger laptop and it fits perfect with some space to spare (an inch or two to spare on the side)-It's made of aluminium so it's tough and durable!- The black vented lap desk comes with a little side tray that attaches easily and effortlessly for your mouse and the plus in that is you don't even need a mouse pad with it but I do choose to use one.- The table section has enough of a ledge to keep the laptop from sliding off even when the desk part is on an angle BUT they have provided you with two slip on clips for added non-slip/ to accommodate thicker laptops.- This desk does have two fans and they seem decent enough quality. They are extremely silent and do a great job keeping my laptop cool as a cucumber while playing a cpu/gpu intensive game like Rift. Normally an expensive fan would be needed to play this game while on a desk BUT your laptop is supported in the air with clear and easy air flow, no wood or stone desk suffocating your pc so the fans on the desk are more than enough to please any gamer. Now, if you have a dinosaur of a laptop and are trying to play system intensive games...this won't be ideal for you as most likely your laptop is not up to par and barely qualifies to play such games so expect your laptop to run beyond HOT - there is no fix for "old" laptop outside of getting a new one sadly.- I adore I get the option of turning the fans on or off with a flick of a switch. Facing the user and under the table top is a little black on/off switch. Also, there is a usb cable that attaches to your laptop for a power source, it is removable so it's not dangling under your table if you aren't using it.- The legs on the desk move in the most incredible ways. There is no angle these little suckers can't move AND they can be positioned differently from each other to literally accommodate any angle/incline/decline. There are times when I have one leg positioned one way and the other leg positioned on another angle to offer me stability on strange inclines. Sometimes I am on a surface where the right side of the laptop is lower than the left and this laptop is the answer...stability on every angle for me.- This lap desk doesn't really jiggle or shake, I mean if you kick it or hit it it will but it never tips over (anything tips over with enough force though), it's never come close to it thank goodness.- It folds up very, very thin. I can slip this under anything and no one would really see it it's so thin. Under the bed, under the couch even. It's not bulky one bit.Cons:- I wish the side tray mouse pad was a tad bit bigger, it is more than enough for me in the time I have used this lap desk but I like having roaming space.- The aluminum legs have plastic joints, I am unsure if this plastic is a cover for the aluminium or if indeed it is plastic. It seems like a hard plastic but I just have bad luck with plastic altogether. I am a bit worried it will break in the future.- I am a woman with long nails and the buttons on each leg to adjust it give me a bit of a hard time. They are sometimes difficult to press when only my nail tip can reach the button to press it. Some times my nail bend in a hurtful way, other times my nail just breaks so I've started using small things made of metal to press the buttons in for me.Over all I love this desk and am extremely pleased with it on every front. It's lightweight and stable, easy on the eyes and just looks cool! Anything that allows me to use my laptop comfortably on the floor or in bed, sitting up leaning against the wall or on the sofa, in a chair or anywhere else is amazing to me. One of my best purchases to date! If this broke tomorrow I would order another the very same day I am so pleased with this. 15 out of 10 thumbs up from me.

1/17/15 - I'm updating my review to reiterate my complete love of this lap desk. I've seen some recent reviews about this not being very sturdy at all, and the degree of frustration buyers have shared.Here's the deal:1) I am about to make a purchase of another one of these babies for use at the client site because the chairs in their office space is beyond awful and I find the need to stand on a regular basis.2) If you're looking for some super sturdy lap desk, you need to go sit down at a REAL desk. Absolutely nothing that is mobile like this will provide 100% stability, so be realistic and responsible about the reason for your purchase and how you plan to use it. Some of the reviews from others have expectations that are not even partially realistic.3) To make my life easier to remember my ideal settings, I placed tiny stickers on the legs to indicate the degree used for leg positioning. The stickers were placed on the side of the leg that would basically face me as an additional note to whether that side of the leg is in or out, up or down. I simply could not remember, and this has worked out well for me.4) I do not use the mouse pad attachment because I prefer to use my Mac's tracking area in stead.5) I love the option to turn the fans on or off instead of a constant on. It is a major plus that there are TWO fans versus one to assist in keeping your computer cooler.6) Finally, I think the only thing the company could do is provide a nice pouch to place the tablet clips inside of, which also attaches some sort of way to the stand. I grabbed a small jewelry pouch, inserted my USB fan cord and clips inside of it, than tied it to the desk by using the pre-cut slots on the desk top to run the cord through. This allows me to have all of the attachments with me and readily available.------------------11/28/14 - I can say this is one of the BEST lap desks I've ever owned. Given an injury that required some down time and no pressure on my leg, this worked perfectly. I was able to angle this in an excellent position that kept the pressure off my legs, allowed the computer to breathe, as well as the positioning that afforded me a more ergonomic method of typing. I was also able to move my legs freely under the desk - which is important to keep from feeling so cramped. When needing to stand up, I can place this on top of my desk and elevate it to the desired height as well.I am using a 13" MBP, but there is ample room to use a 15" computer. I do not use the mouse attachment. The fans have a on/off switch, but I have not found the need to use them. The metal of the portable lap desk already provides for air flow, along with the natural coolness of the material. An added plus is that ability to fold this desk down completely for ease of travel. VERY light weight!I would purchase again for certain. The only caution is to be careful with moving around with your computer resting on top of the desk. YOUR COMPUTER WILL SLIDE!!!

Product is pretty good but leg snapped after just 1 year of use. Cheap plastic

El equipo es bastante sólido, fácil de ajustar, lo esperaba un poco más alto, pero eso fue sólo mi apreciación personal. El instructivo es muy simple, pero la mesa no requiere muchas instrucciones. Lo que le falta es la indicación de cómo colocar y usar un par de piezas que se incluyen, que son para dar soporte a laptops más gruesas. Mi laptop es de 15" y cupo sin problema, con unos centímetros de espacio libre a los lados. Una mesa muy práctica a un buen precio. Otro punto a favor, el ventilador que tiene en la parte de abajo, aunque no lo uso (aún), me parece una muy buena adición.

I actually use the keyboard from my desktop on this table can play games and watch netflixs from the comfort of my adjustable bed but smaller enough and lighter enough to be used just about any where

El soporte llegó antes de lo esperado, al leer las otras opiniones me encontraba indecisa para comprarlo, finalmente lo hice y no me arrepiento, es un soporte resistente que soportó bien mi laptop. Los ventiladores funcionan muy bien, éstos se conectan a la laptop. Llegó armada y solamente se debe ajustar el aditamento para el mouse, en mi caso como no lo ocupo no lo he instalado. Al poder colocarlo en muchísimas posiciones lo hace muy versátil.
