My daughter is happy with the temperature of the food when she eats it at lunchtime which is 12.40pm. I add the food when it is piping hot at the latest before she leaves for school at 8.00am. I would urge users to read instructions and heat the flask with boiling water for a period of 5 minutes before adding the food, then quickly sealing the flask. I read some reports that food was not hot enough, but this really has not been an issue for us all. WayEee customer service has been excellent. After a few uses the rubber seal inside the flask had become detached and my daughter had thrown it away thinking it was a large onion ring - WayEee are very prompt at replying to messages and they sorted out a replacement part within a couple of days which I was thought was brilliant as they were not obligated to do so seeing as my daughter had unwittingly disposed of the part. Would definitely recommend and buy again. Review: Very useful - I bought it for my child to take lunch to school, the food remains hot for long time, good for my kids to eat warm meal. I can see that the information says 10 hours, but wondering if food is still hot or just warm. thanks** A: I prepare my daughter's food at 7.30am and her lunch is at 12.30pm. So far her food is still very hot. Hope this helps. **Q: What is the diameter of the opening? I want to purchase a wide-mouth bottle** A: Hello, thank you for your question, you can rest assured to buy, our food jar is designed with a wide opening, diameter is 8 cm, very convenient to use and clean. Sincerely WayEee Team **Q: What grade stainsteel in this food jar?** A: Hello, the stainstelle of this item is 304. Thank you for your question Sincerely, WayEee Team **Q: is this suitable for 3 year old?** A: Personally I would find a 3 year old wound have the dexterity to undo this flask and deal with the hot contents. If however as a carer/parent you are in charge then it would be suitable. It the contents are hot and child is unsupervised then no . Why would a 3year old be using this? ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality efficient food flask *by J***E on 24 November 2019* This flask is made of high quality materials and so far has been used several times by my daughter taking hot pasta to school for lunch. It was a lukewarm. Otherwise then that I feel that it does dissolve the heat quicker then it says. Otherwise then that. It was lovely! Wish the cap was quite a big stronger tho. No leaks!❤️🫶🏻 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/146288144-wayeee-food-flasks-for-hot-food-kids-460ml-vacuum-insulated](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/146288144-wayeee-food-flasks-for-hot-food-kids-460ml-vacuum-insulated) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
