Men's Classic Fit Short Sleeve Solid Soft Cotton Polo Shirt

The shirts are wonderful and I have been wearing Nautica for a long time. However, these shirts for some reason when washed even in cold and dried (tumble/low) shrink up big time. I don't know if it is the lay of the weave or perhaps these are not authentic Nautica shirts but they will shrink up. Order one size up or else prepare to send it back because you won't be able to wear them after one washing. AMAZON should require post wash/dry recommendations on products like this.

I like Nautica brand, their shirts are great quality and fashionable. I bought 3 this week at around 25 dollars, im 5'9 and weigh 150 pounds. I usually stick to the small shirts becuase thats my regualr size but i noticed when I went to dunkin donuts one day the barista was wearing Nautica shirt and i asked him "what can you tell me before I buy?" And im glad I asked, he said he usually get large in shirts but with the Nautica shirt it shrunk. When you order you can feel the material will shrink in the wash no doubt. So with him informing to buy a size up I did, im glad I did. I went with the medium . As soon as I got the package i tried them on to see what they look like before washing, took off the tags, and threw them in the washer. They shrank a bit and fit almost perfect.So before you buy this I would recommend buying a size up, its very soft material. Stylish and comfortable, but will shrink.

The Classic Fit Red shirt is actually a Slim Fit Navy Blue. In other words, they will send you any old product they feel like sending you.Edit: Ordered another years later in 2021, I was a little larger so I tried an XL for a baggy fit, it turned out to be the same size as the medium I ordered years ago. Based on this I am thinking a 2XL or 3XL is probably closer to a Large. The material had an elasticity to it, as far I thought, cotton should not have this property.

I'm a little dissatisfied with this purchase. This shirt seems a little bigger than medium. Also the fabric is quite thin. I bought I separate nautica shirt locally and their is a great difference in quality.

This shirt runs at least one size too small. I ordered a large, but it fits like a medium.

Good shirt. I just hate the sizing based on other shirts and their sizing. For a big and tall person I expect the tag to say 2XL followed by a B or a T. These do not and I question the length with my waistline. More so, after the first washing.

I've ordered several of these shirts, and for the most part they have been amazing. Super soft cotton that breathes very well in the heat, and the 2XLT was a perfect fit.However, after the first wash, one of the shirts (Ash Green) came out with dark blue splotches all over it. None of the other shirts had any markings on them. Due to the color, I would say that the dark color on the "logo" of the shirt somehow bled into the shirt fabric and ruined the shirt. Not happy about it!Update: all light colored shirts came out with the exact same stain. 1 star

This is the third Nautica soft cotton polo that I own, the first one from Amazon though. Definitely prefer them to the pique knits. I would have given this five stars, but unlike the other two that I own, the collar on this one has a crease in it. I've washed and dried it a couple times, and I think it may be softening of the crease. Other than that, it's a great shirt. The fit is excellent, the fabric is really soft, and it looks great.

The item arrived on time and the material was very soft, i washed the item and it did not shrink I ordered XL and found it to be rather on the bigger side so perhaps maybe better to order a size down, overall i would order again as the cost was very good for a Nautica polo shirt, but certainly not the best, as there say you get what you pay for

Beware not all shirts are the same size. One particular shirt, the plum colour one, was not a classic fit and is a bit too small.

Its a perfect fit got loads of compliments fitted ma chest n arms well given i have an athletic build.

Fine and softer polo material. Large fine for me 5’11’’ 42” chest decent quality and really good for price.
