Quality adapter for GPUs needing 8 pin from 2 x 75W 12V 6-pin supplies.
If your GPUs have an 8-pin PCIe socket and your PC has 2x75W 12V 6-pin PCIe supplies from a PSU with adequate capacity, you need a quality adaptor that is rated to carry up to 150W @12V. This one complies, and I have four of them in use without problems at present, in a HP Z600 with a 650W PSU (using a 2x SATA power to 1xPCIe 6pin adapter to get the second 75W PCIe6) feeding an ASUS Turbo GTX 1070; in two HP Z800's with 1250W PSUs and GTX 1080s; and in two HP Z440s with 700W PSUs and a GTX 1080 and a RTX 2060. All work fine at max power in benchmarking and all connections and cables stay cool.

Excellent Quality!
I recently acquired a used video card for my main workstation. It has an auxiliary power connector on it. The card receives 75 Watts of power from the expansion card slot, but it needs another 150 Watts from the power supply. That's what the 8-pin connector on the board is for. My computer is from 2011, and instead of a single 8-pin connector, it had two 6-pin connectors. (Those provide 75 Watts each.) In order to connect my video card, I had to buy this cable to allow me to join two 6-pin connectors into a single 8-pin connector. This cable is well-constructed and does the job perfectly! My new video card rocks!

Excellent quality cable
I bought this Dual 6 Pin Female to 8 Pin Male power cable in March 2022 for my GTX 1660 Super (also bought from Amazon around that time) for my DELL XPS 8700. It revived an old DELL machine and gave it new life by allowing the existing DELL OEM power supply to connect to the GTX 1660 Super. The power cable hasn't failed me yet. Will report back if it does.

Works flawlessly with a GTX 1660 Ti in my Dell Precision T5610
Installed in my Dell Precision T5610 with no issues and was able to handle my 1660 Ti's 120W maximum rated power draw flawlessly. Though if you're looking for a solution for this particular machine, I did notice that the 6-pin PCIe power cables installed in the machine are connected to the power supply via an 8-pin PCIe power connector, so it may be worth looking into getting a male-to-male 8-pin cable and using that instead. Regardless, this adapter hasn't set fire to my PC as of yet, so this is a fine option as well.

Inquire about the pin layout before ordering!
pin layout for this cable was wrong for my needs, and I had to cut and resplice most of the wires to make it work. Probably not the manufacturer's responsibility, but it would have been nice to have had that pin layout available before purchasing. I don't fault them for this as I suspect they would have provided that info if I had inquired before ordering

Excellent Product.
I have an older or call it ancient 14 year old HP XW8600 workstation with OEM 1,100W PSU. It is still a monster with 64gb of DDR3 ram and SSDs. It was running 6GB 1060GTX video card for the last 6 years, I decided to upgrade to 12GB 2060RTX and needed this splitter to connect the card to the PSU. Splitter works flawlessly and card runs great. So far I am very happy with the purchase.

Actually a very well-made, solid adapter.
It does exactly what it says on the tin, though I must say the wires themselves feel very sturdy and thick and are sleeved/heatshrinked. My favorite part of this adapter is that every pin on the 8 pin end is connected to both 6-pin 12v or GND pins. This ensures that the load between both source 6-pin cables have their load distributed equally as opposed to some cheaper adapters where 4 pins source from one 6 pin and the other 4 pins source from the other 6-pins. I initially thought this cable was way too expensive, but on opening and using it I feel like I'm not doing something jank with a cable as proper as this one.

Worked like a charm
It fits only ONE Way... Took me 10 minutes to figure that out. No issues, no problems. It's only been a few days since install - if i have any issues, I'll report it here.

Excellent for a 4080 Super in a Dell XPS 8950
Upgraded from a 3070 to a 4080 Super in a Dell XPS 8950. The 4080 Super has 3 x 8 pin sockets. My 1000w PSU had 2 x 8 pin and 2 x 6 pin so, using this to combine the 2 x6 into another 8, I was able to get the GPU the required power. Using 2 x 8 pin from the PSU didn't power it sufficiently but this solved it.

Quality item.
Well-made, which is reassuring when you're powering an expensive GPU! I used it in an HP Z440 for half the power into an RTX 3080 Ti FE (the other half coming from 2 different SATA power feeds), and to keep it compact I used an extended GPU power cable and cut the sleeving off so I could coil this up more easily. Great result with no cables or plugs in the way of the airflow!
