Wow just wow, great product, well made, heavy duty steel, fits great and I’ve got a huge melon. Great add to my collection...well worth the price.

The helmet itself looks and feels very nice. However in the pictures there is a pin on the visor to lock it in place. But the one I got has that pin way more forward and the hook for the pin is huge. It makes this helmet look horrible. Also the hook isn’t in a hook shape so a little giggle unlocks it.

I think this is a great helmet for the money. I was looking for something smaller than some other helmets and with a chin strap. This one is pretty much exactly what I wanted.In my pics, you can see the helmet is large enough to fit over a chain coif and a collared gorget. And it is short enough to not clang against the gorget too much, providing a decent range of motion.I like the style of the helmet as well. It's basically exactly as pictured in the product description.I do have a couple of minor complaints, hence the 4 stars. Mine came with a couple of discolored spots. I can likely buff them out with carbide sandpaper. The cross cut-out in the visor is not fully cut out in places, leaving sharp metal burrs. I will fix that with my Dremel. And finally, the visor doesn't really stay up well, being fairly loose. So if you raise it to eat, don't tilt your head too far forward.Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase.

Needless to say, you can see in the photo that the helmet was a big hit. I can’t think of a better way to review this product than by submitting a photo, so enjoy the view of my husband looking positively medieval.

my helmet was decent, its comfortable, very nice look, and seems sturdy. my issues are mainly just how it was packed, it came in a normal amazon box with some bubble wrap and that was it, and the box was heavily damaged, the damage was so bad that i am truly surprised my helmet wasn't destroyed, another issue is that there are a few black spots on it, and the clip that keeps the visor down needs to grind against the visor to lock it. overall it is a good helmet, dont get me wrong but there are a few issues i have with it

The hook on the side of the helmet snapped off in shipping and anyone with a slightly larger than average head would not be able to wear it

It's does the job. Didn't feel right to give it 5 stars. For the price though its good.Would buy again though.

Nice decorative piece. This is not wearable. Thin and flimsy, its definately mass produced from machine press. Lots of sharp edges.
