I'm happy with this mouthpiece. I am not a professional, and professionals may have the knowledge to seek out something else. But I think this is a standard reverable item.

Great mouthpiece for the serious musician!
We love the Yamaha 4C mouthpieces! IMO - not recommended for the beginner. However, when ready to move on to a better sound and more flexibility - the 4C is great! I bought them for my sons' Alto Saxophone, Tenor and Bari! We also purchase one for the Clarinet!
