Vetericyn VF is as safe as saline, because it is based on a  oxychlorine compound similar o that produced by the animal's own immune system.   Having the same pH as normal tear fluid, it will not sting when applied. Vetericyn Veterinary Formula has twice the strength as regular Vetericyn (OTC). Vetericyn VF Ophthalmic Wash Formula based on FDA-Cleared Microcyn Technology.
