These things are amazing! I had tried other name brand mitts that weren’t silicone but they didn’t have any heat resistance. I finally gave in and ordered these based on the reviews and they were absolutely right. These really keep out the heat and your fingers barely feel it. I can hold hot pots and pans, the tray from the toaster oven, I even use them for soap making. It takes about 30 seconds before your hands even start to feel anything. Great purchase! And such a good price.

Before buying these rubber gripping oven mitts, I used the traditional cloth ones. They burned me, there was holes burnt into them....in general they were a mess. These have changed that, and my baking game has never been better. Great value, great product.

Fantastic product! Comfortable fit and flexible grip. No need for crappy five-fingered gloves. Super easy to slip on and off quickly. I have felt zero heat penetrating these mitts at 450 degrees. I am confident I can go much higher. Silicone is on both sides so both gloves work for either hand. 13 inches is plenty long enough to protect my forearms. After grabbing something hot the outer glove does not retain heat. Function is beauty and these mitts function beautifully. I am extremely satisfied.

These oven mitts are great. I used them to pick up my pizza stone that was in the oven on 550 degrees. Although I felt some warmth, there was no discomfort at all, so I do believe they are great for handling very hot objects. My only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5, is that they are advertised as extra long, but they are also extra wide, which makes them a very loose fit for an average sized woman’s hands.

I'm glad this is a good product as it took forever to arrive. I would strongly recommend it otherwiseUpdate - these are even better than I originally thought. I haven't burned myself since I started using them and they wipe off with a sponge. Amazing product
