Acquired some swords that my son became fascinated with.. so wanted something cost effective to display them. I did not even bother with the eyelets on the back... drilled 2 holes and mounted directly to a single stud. I would estimate each sword ranges between 2 and 5 lbs and feel any other way of mounting would have failed. Would rate at 5 star if I felt the value was there for the price. Overall it does the job and is secure with the improvised mounting method

My son is using it for his Lego sword collection. We did place my actual sword on the stand as well and it supported that too.Easy to hang - sturdy!

3/5: usable but not quality, especially given the price (I got it at $27).Pros:Aesthetic is nice and as expected.Meant for swords, but works just as well for flutes.Note: it can stand by itself, but not with items on it (unless you have woodworking skills and resources). Green ruler is the standard 12-inch ruler.Cons:1. Quality is so-so. Probably combined wood, so I wouldn’t place more than 20 lbs total.The design cut-out parts have not been sanded, and the paint job has line streaks. Fine for me as they are not overly visible from a distance.2. As shown in the picture, there was mold in the non-sanded area, most likely due to humidity in the warehouse. Wiping it resulted in some dandruff to blow away, so wear a mask if allergy-sensitive.3. Biggest issue is that the hanging cutouts are on the centerboard and not done correctly and has no groove for lock-in (see photo). This would likely fall off if hanging as-is. I suggest buying metal keyhole hangers separately from hardware store to prevent the shelf from falling off (don’t know why the manufacturer skimped on this… the wooden color version has it and is also sold on Amazon). I’m personally using 3M stripes on the side panels instead since I’m not going to load out much.

Price

Super easy assembly. 2 different ways to assemble for different looks. Mounting hardware is sufficient to hold it up, just be careful if it’s holding larger/heavier swords, I’d suggest making sure at least 1 screw hits a stud in the wall to keep it stabile.Son loves it.

Pretty hard to get the screws in the wrong place without a level, but still holds up my katanas well.

Was smaller then we expected

This sword display mount is much nicer than I expected, it is well made, well painted, looks great and works as it should, I couldn't be happier.

Way smaller than it looks. It can hold 3 very small swords. Can really only fit one of my katana on it. Highly recommend you look elsewhere if your planning on hanging katana.
